Experiences - Bad Trip: No Visuals, Heavy Body Load, Awful Comedown: LSD or Not?

2 days ago SWIM had LSD in paper... really nice at the beggining...normally SWIM enjoys a lot LSD... the trip began after 1hour and 1/2 and SWIM was really relaxed...after a while SWIM thought why do the allucionation havent begun?? that is what normally SWIM feels.... after a while ...a very very long while...like 6 hours after the intake SWIM started to feel bad, really hard taquicardia and SWIM thought it would be a heart attack... like at 7/30 in the morning SWIM was still feeling like crap... (SWIM took LSD at 8:30 pm the day before!)
What the hell happened?
Its been 2 days and SWIM feels like crap...really anxious, really mad, and hungry and sleepy ALL the time?
Is it an OD? bUT SWIM usually takes the same amount all the time from the same dealer????

I find it strange that there were absolutely no visuals for SWIY. Perhaps it was LSD, but in a lesser amount than usual, so the psychological effects were present but without accompanied visuals. The tachycardia could've just been brought on by anxiety and agitation because the visuals did not kick in.

But have you yet considered that it might not have been LSD at all? Unfortunately SWIM doesn't have any ideas as to what other specific substance would have an enjoyable come-up and such a long duration involving the normal LSD-headspace yet systematically lead to tachycardia and dysphoria several hours into the experience.

Unless it really was just a bad trip caused by a bunk dose of LSD and/or tolerance.

SWIM hasn't experienced any visuals when taking LSD. (1 hit didn't do anything, 2 hits had the feeling but no visuals.) Sorry about swiy's bad trip though.

I can't imagine that SWIY overdosed, in the technical sense, especially from one paper... it is extremely difficult to overdose on LSD, though it has happened before. But bad trips with exhausting physical symptoms can happen randomly to anyone who takes LSD, and tachycardia is one of the symptoms that sometimes comes up in physically exhaustive bad trips. I'm sorry SWIY had such a bad experience; if SWIY doesn't have a reason to think the source is supplying something wacky, then maybe it's just time for SWIY to take a break from LSD.

maybe a small amount of lsd... for swim usually half a tab, or less (3/8 of a tab for example ) will come up after 1-2 hours, and without major hallucinations, only breathing surfaces sometimes... so swiy could have took a smaller amount of lsd than usual, and this could have started his bad feelings... i guess...

a friend of mine on his firts lsd trip (half a tab, but good tabs) had an intense bad trip, and he spent days to
recover himself... he could not believe that acid can have such long lasting after-effects... but after some days the bad feelings and thoughts went away, so swiy should wait and let pass the days don't caring about the bad feelings, accepting them and thinking that they will fade.

like at 7/30 in the morning SWIM was still feeling like crap... (SWIM took LSD at 8:30 pm the day before!)

if someone has a strong trip, an intense experience, it's normal to feel the effects 11 hours later... swim one day fell in a scary mind loop on lsd (and triggered by hashish i think) at about +3 hours, and at +12 he was still feeling bad, like shocked, he wanted to not see anyone... (of course cannabis makes lsd effects longer lasting, and amplificate your thoughts)

5-meo-amt is a synthetic tryptamine there plenty of info about this and others on wikipedia ,RC stands for research chemical,

RC's are research chemicals, a class of lesser known drugs and drug analogues whose properties are still relatively unknown. 5-MeO-AMT is 5-methoxy-alphamethyltryptamine, a stimulant hallucinogen active at very low doses. There have been DEA reports that 5-MeO-AMT is sometimes being sold in blotter or sugar cube form as "acid". If SWIY does not fully know or trust his source, it is always possible that SWIY may have received 5-MeO-AMT in place of LSD.

lsd tastes like puppys and glitter and 5-meo taste very bitter like bill O'riellys heart.so if you try it again see what it tastes like no taste=possible lsd bitter taste youve got some research chem,also you can try the black light method lsd glows under black light,if it glows you might have lsd if not then you definitely dont.

this absolutely does not sound like it's LSD. like fnord said, the coming up took way too long. SWIH never had a longer time till kicking in than ~45 minutes, most of the time the LSD kicks in after 30 minutes with euphoria and restlessness in the whole body, and minutes later the first visuals start.

LSD does raise the heartbeat a bit, but also SWIH never had real tachykardia from it - and SWIH knows tachykardia very well, thanks to diphenhydramine by the way.

were there really NO visual effects? low doses of LSD tend to enhance colors and perception, and although LSD does have a slight speedy component (in fact it is a stimulant as well as a psychedelic), if you experience strong speedy effects (like, for example amphetamines) than that's not LSD.

8:30 PM to 7:30 PM are 11 hours, that's still in the possible range for the trip (as SWIH thinks the trip won't really "end" before you get a good amount of sleep) with LSD, or better said, the afterglow. but if SWIY was still tripping hard in the mind and with heavy body load after 11 hours, SWIH's almost certain you hadn't LSD.

I mean If I get into a dark room with no light it glows?? is that true???

^ No, a blacklight is a type of ultraviolet light (sort of) used frequently at dance clubs etc. The light looks like a flourescent bulb (long) and the light is bluish/purplish, makes colors look flourescent, white glow, peoples teeth glow... are you familiar with what I'm talking about? Special velvety posters are made to look very colorful and cool under them, they're sometimes used at stores to test money.
