illegal to buy San Pedro?

swim lives in the usa and wants to buy some San Pedro for study purposes. Is it illegal to purchase, through the mail, San Pedro cuttings, seeds or rooted San Pedro? Also, what are cuttings? Finally, how would swim trip off a San Pedro cutting, hypothetically speaking.

swim is pretty sure that san pedro is legal in the us of a. a cutting would genarally be something swim could replant and hope that it grows, but in the case of cacti swim hears that they take and awful long time to grow a considerable amount, of course swim could just use the cutting to "trip".

yeh no doubt mescaline is illegal, and theres probably some regulations about having san pedro with intent to consume but thats basically unproveable so its all gooood!

If swim were to purchase 3-12inch cuttings, what would be the easiest way to trip? Just grind, mix with water and % lemon juice and eat, or should swim grind and freeze it, or some other way. Keep in mind, swim has never seen mescaline in person. Swim wants and quick and easy to accomplish method. What would be the dosage, as well? One 12inch cutting, swim heard.

Swim is POSTIVE that san pedro is legal. You can even get lucky and find it at nurseries. all mescaline containing cacti are legall expect for peyote unless you are an indian and have rights., or unless you live in California which all forms of mescaline cacti are classified as peyote. Note; it is illegal to consume any form of mescaline cacti

For future notes, in the UK all cactus is legal. Recently a case was thrown out of court:

A 2007 court case in the U.K. resulted in a decision that left dried mescaline-containing cacti legal to sell and possess. The case (see Regina v. Saul Sette) was thrown out by the judge on the grounds that the law did not clearly make dried chips or powder illegal. This certainly indicates that fresh growing cacti are also not controlled at this time. Note that peyote is also not controlled in the United Kingdom. (Last Updated June 2007)
