100mg/10ml vs 500mg/10ml
I'm curious and confused about this 'rating'. Most Ketamine I hear people talk about states 100mg on a 10ml vial. Some are 500mg/10ml. Now, I hear alot of mixed ideas on how much ketamine (powder) would be in a 10ml vial.
Common sense would tell me that 500mg bottles would be 5 times as concentraed as 100mg bottles ( having 5 times as much pure ketamine hcl disolved in the same amount of solution (10ml)) BUT I never hear people mentioned an importance on the difference when discussing price, yield and avalibility. Can someone who knows more about this help clear this up for us? The brand that comes to mind that I have seen in 500mg/10ml bottles is Ketamax by Rotexmedica (germany) which isnt very common. Can anyone shed some light on this for me and everyone else???

Re: 100mg/10ml vs 500mg/10ml
thats right, 500mg/10ml contains five times more ketamine hcl dissolved in the same amount (10ml) solution.
Some bottles write the potency for every ml, for example 100mg per ml (100mg/ml). Which means every ml contains 100mg Ketamine HCl and a 10ml bottle of this contains 1000mg (1 gram) of Ketamine HCl. But if it says 500mg/10ml (as it seems to be SWIY's case) then it means you should divide the number of mgs (500) by number of ml (10) to calculate how much Ketamine HCl is in every ml (500/10=50mg/ml) and a 10ml bottle contains 500mg pure Ketamine HCl. |

Re: 100mg/10ml vs 500mg/10ml
nowthat that I think about it, the 10ml bottles I'm thinking about only say 'ketamine 500mg base' m so would be per bottle, not per ml. Hmm, time for SWIM to find a different brand...
