laws governing pain meds in Brazil
Hey, anybody tell me if pain meds, ie.hydrocodone(vicodin)/oxycontin etc. can be purchased over the counter in Brazil? Can a U.s.citizen attending a University in Brazil get prescriptions written in U.S. filled in Brazil? How difficult is it to get scripts for pain meds written in Brazil? Student/relative leaving for Brazil in 8 days,will be living and attending school in Rio for 6 months.Thanks in advance for reading,Cyman

You can´t buy over the counter with US prescription, she'll have to get a prescription from some local doctor, better just pack 6 months of pills, law enforcement wont cause you any trouble in there for it.

SWIM told me you can buy prescriptions there for about U$10. If you have the right connections...
