Salvia dose first timer

i'm getting some salvia in the mail and i would like to know how much of the leaf i should use for my first time. i am going to be using a vaporizer. i don't know if the amount differs from vape to smoking it.

One may be dissappointed if trying to use a vaporizer. Too get a good dose, one has to get a significant amount of the smoke ingested in a short period of time...this can be easier said than done for some users. Also, some people find it difficult to achieve what they want when using a regular lighter and many users reccomend having a butane torch, because they need the extra heat. A vaporizer doesn't get near as hot as the flame of a regular lighter, so one may find it difficult to get it into the vapor form. ( I think vaporizers get up to like 300C maybe?) If one had pure salvinorium A, this may be a possibility, but I think you may have problems with your current plan. SWIM is not a salvia user though, so others may have a counter-argument?
