Music & Salvia Divinorum

I have read that New Age or light Classical music is best for Salvia experiences, because you don't want a lot of words and the mood should be relaxed.

However, would it be more correct to say that you should have music (if any at all) that is more comforting than mellow? For example, if you listen to a lot of Dave Matthews, Iron Maiden, Louis Armstrong, whatever your preference, does the familiarity of your most worn-out recordings supercede the manufactured mellowness of arbitrarily chosen softer alternatives?
