Wormwood seems to overpower and reverse benzodiazepine effects.

Has anyone else noticed that? wormwood when on benzodiazepines doesnt work out, one an antagonist one and agonist of the GABA receptors. so wormwood is kind of like an herbal naloxone for benzos.

Thats pretty fascinating though swim has never tried this out.Swim wishes he could be more helpful with this but wormwood and benzos is not a combination he's ever tried.

yeah swim noticed when on diazepam it almost brought on withdrawals, thujone works on GABA receptors too, but previously it was thought since it's molecular structure is similar to THC that it worked on cannibinoid receptors but it does not.

was just surfing wikipedia's thujone pharmacology and realized pretreatment of valium protects against a potentially lethal dose of thujone 100mg/kg.

benzodiazepines= GABA antagonist (responsible for anti-spasmodic, relaxant)
thujone= GABA agonist (responsible for muscle spasm, contraction)

Interesting that swiy actually decide to try this combination.Swim has never even considered it and it sounds like a pretty odd thing to do just for recreation.Ofcourse hearing this swim has decided he has no wish to try it.

mixing benzos and thujone is a waste, but one or the other can have nice effects alone. it's be like taking heroin and naloxone, (milder though). but who wants to feel like chemicals are fighting for receptors in their body... it just messes things up... definitely not recommended to take thujone and benzodiazepines simultaneously.
