What research chemical does swiy think swim might enjoy?

Swim has been reading alot of experience reports on many of the various rc's both here and at erowid.He has noticed almost all of them tend to seem like intense and somewhat frightening psychedellics.Does swiy know of one that is trippy but somewhat mellow and easy?Swim would really like one that was like an opiate but from a post he made earlier he knows not many of these exist,yet swim wants to get into the rc club.So swim is deciding to ask those with far more knowledge and experience on this than himself.Any suggestions?

As in easy on the mind? As in no evil demons hunting you with a blowtorch?

I don't know, it would depend on the dosage, but SWiM thinks that 5-MeO-DiPT and 2C-I are pretty "easy" materials in reasonable amounts. He may not know what is right for SWiY though....

Swim doesn't have that much knowledge on 5-meO-DiPt but swim has read some trip reports on 2C-I and from what swim read it sounded abit more pleasant than some of the other 2C's he read about.This is going to be a big step for swim because he doesn't use psychedellics much like he used to but a little mind expansion can be good for a person.Swim has had some very positive experiences with lsd in the distant past and swim is sort of hoping for a trip that may put things in perspective for him and maybe help him a little.

I would say IMO 2c-b is the perfect start to a good experience wit RC's. Dosage curve is not as steep as alot of the others and good visuals with little mind-fuck for me. The stuff is one of the top 5 of all times for SWim.

SWIM has a fair amount of experience with 2C-E, with dosages ranging from 5mg-15mg (insufflated) and 15mg-40mg (oral). It is very intense, as the first time he took it was around the 35-40mg level not knowing what to expect. Much more visual than just about any psychedelic out there barring DMT. I think that RCs that are more likely to induce euphoria may be a good place to start, as there is less likelihood of the trip turning bad, though this can still happen of course.

Entactogens or similar substances may be helpful as a place to start introspection and self-healing before venturing into the potentially more capricious territory of full blown psychedelics. For instance, MDMA could be very useful, or something like methylone could be a substitute to get swiy into the swing of things. 2C-I is another potential place to start, somewhat similar to entactogens though it is a full psychedelic.

nleksan I think 2C-E would be rather too intense for someone who has not done psychedelics in a long time and who wants to use psychedelics to help sort out some internal issues. It may be counter-productive, as especially with a higher dose, a bad trip on 2C-E could be of too intense a nature to be able to really work through.


That being said, keep in mind Orchid S., that 'bad' / uncomfortable / distressing trips can still be very beneficial if one reacts the right way after encountering one. This video may be very helpful for swiy to watch before embarking on a psychedelic experience, as it also would definitely be good to show to whoever would be trip sitting for swiy.

Bajeda, I agree with your post, and the biggest thing SWIM noticed while under the influence of 2C-E is that, while incredibly intense both visually and as far as body loads go, it was very different from LSD or Psilocybin in that most mental clarity was maintained. SWIM was able to understand that he was indeed under the influence of a drug, a powerful one nonetheless, but that it would eventually end.

2C-I or 2C-B seem to be good RC's for "beginners", so to speak, in that they are not nearly as much of a mindfuck as some of the (much) more potent ones.

Agreed Methylone would be a great starting point, or even a low 2c-i dose.
However "joining the R.C club" as you said isn't something to be taken lightly.

If you don't mind the potential for body load then BZP combined with TFMPP may be another good starting point. (approx 60% people get body load)
