Has anyone tried filtering cheap vodka through a Britta water filter? SWIM did a search here at the site and was unable to find anything relating to this, so I will share what I know about this.
The final product is quite amazing, and actually rivals the most expensive vodkas out there. In fact, some of the vodka connoisseurs that SWIM knows actually prefer the cheaper vodkas that have been filtered with the Britta filter over Kettle One or Grey Goose. I was very surprised by this.
Here a link that provides detailed instructions on how to do this yourself:

PS This takes a $7 or $8 bottle of the cheapest vodka, and turns it into a fantastic gift for any vodka connoisseur you might know.
