A not so pleasant experience
Hi everyone, something happened to SWIM the other day that's leaving him/her blue. To give a background SWIM started smoking a while ago and loved it as much as possible. Marijuana was second only to friends and family to SWIM. Then SWIM had to stop smoking for mental health reasons and because SWIM fell out of touch with his/her connection. Okay the other day SWIM got their long lost bubbler back and collected some weed crumbs from around the room and packed a bowl. SWIM toked like a bitch but still got high and felt good at first. Then SWIM just started feeling very lonely and depressed like SWIM was the only thing left on Earth. SWIM can't let go of weed just because of one bad experience and wants to smoke some more. SWIM sort of thinks this was just because SWIM was re-introducing theirself to marijuana. SWIM made up with their connection and might smoke this weekend. SWIM will keep trying to make it like the old times but needs some consolation and guidance which is where you guys come in. Thanks for your help.

Re: A not so pleasant experience
SWIM has had similar experiences. SWIM used to smoke weed a lot, then for legal reasons he stopped. SWIM was able to use it again, and was around his girlfriend at the time. SWIM got pretty high, but upon sitting there with his girlfriend, he found he started feeling really bad about certain things that had happened in between the two of them. SWIM got very sad and started crying and felt awful. SWIM smoked regularly a bit after that and found that after he had been re-introduced to the high, the emotional push was not there, it was again enjoyable.
If SWIy keeps having problems, they may try to go to a counselor? One not need to go on a regular basis, but swim had found that a session or two of good counseling can be good for the soul, which makes for a better experience when one is using psychedelic drugs. SWIy may want to think about their life, and try to figure out what is going on in it that is leaving him/her feeling this way. It is more than likely not the drug, with psychedelics it usually isnt, but rather the drug was just there to serve as a catalyst to bring out some issues that are already there. On a more im-personal note, swim actually sought counseling with his significant other shortly after this happened, and it really helped mend their relationship, and thus helped close the doors to these emotional issues when he was using psychedelic drugs. swim is no longer with this person, but they remain a good friend. |

Re: A not so pleasant experience
SWIM is glad to here SWIY is doing better and that it was just the need to get used to the high. SWIM already goes to a therapist and it does help. SWIM will post again when SWIM smokes again.
