Smoking - Smoking vs eating/drinking Opium

Swim is sure that this post must already exist but can't find it. Swim wants to know, what do all the SWIYs out there prefer, smoking or eating/drinking, and perhaps more importantly, why?

when smoked nearly 90% of the drug in question (morphine) gets through to the brain. orally well more than half is destroyed by the liver before reaching the brain. smoking doesnt last as long, and it seems to have a big euphoria wall, that no matter how much you smoke, you can never get past. oral use has a very very high dose parameter before you start getting into ODs, and theres no cieling. smoking is great if you want a vicodin like mellow opiate buzz for 3-4 hours. oral use is for the people who want to be "strung out"....way way high. personally swim likes to mix it up.

SWIM rather smokes it. The effects one gets from smoking it are much intenser and stronger than orally ingesting it.

Swim never has had the opportunity to smoke O, only poppy tea many times. How is the dosage diffrent, or is it? Really, Swim has lots and lots of experience with opiates and opiods of all kinds, too much probably, but has never actually been able to find real opium. Soon swim will have some, and any information about methods of ingestion and dosage prefrences could be quite helpful.

Tough call for swim. Tea lasts up to around 6 hours or so for him, while smoking he usually take a couple hits an hour to keep him in a good place. Definitely very different experiences though.

swia likes oral poppy tea or opium mixed with alcohol, absinth seems to work well but this is small amounts thou. Smoking swia prefers and seems to hit the spot more although briefly. There both nice really. Swia feels more safer smoking o then drinking poppy tea.
