Salvia or LSD: Which is more intense?

which of the two is pore intence??? originally swim thought acid would be worse because it last longer(dont ask how swim got that reasoning)..

anyway, swim recently tried salvia and it was the most intense thing swim has ever partaken of. not to mention it was swims first tripping experience..
at first swim was glad to take salvia before trying acid.. but after reading many posts on this board swim wonders if acid is a lighter trip than salvia...

anyone know the deal??

Re: salvia and acid

LSD is a 12 hour experence which builds itself up slowly , it can be very strong depending on dose. But with sally the user is hurled into a fifteen minute world of chaos , there is no come up to get a handle on the experience.....one is just up.

For swim salvia has also been the most intense experience he has endured. But dont be mistaken.....LSD is completely different to salvia, there effects have very little if anything in common.

Look around the forum using the search engine and swiy will get a better grasp of both substance's.

Re: Salvia or LSD: Which is more intense?

Just curious if there's any cross-tolerance between the two? SWIM will hopefully be trying Salvia tomorrow night followed by around 100ug of LSD.

Re: Salvia or LSD: Which is more intense?

SWIM found that years of tripping on LSD, LSA, and mushrooms did absolutelty nothing to prepare SWIM for what to expect from salvia.

Comparing other drugs to salvia is often only done by those folks who have only experienced a threshold experience with salvia, but have not yet experienced beyond the threshold. The threshold experience with salvia is not an accurate indicator (in the least) of what SWIM has experienced beyond the threshold experience with salvia.

Re: Salvia or LSD: Which is more intense?

LSD is nothing like salvia. While salvia is in effect it appears to be much more intense (not to mention different) than LSD but LSD can also have its intense moments. If SWIY were to acquire premium high power blotter LSD, SWIM thinks SWIY would find it equally intense in its own fashion.

LSD, salvia, and psilocybin are all pretty much different if SWIY tries them. Shrooms give more of a constant f***** up image, like everything constantly looks strange. Shrooms also provide quite a euphoric sensation with plenty of giggling, unless SWIY does a large amount. LSD does not make everything in your vision appear to be different or "crawling" as some describe. Your attention is drawn to a particular theme, surrounding, thought, etc. and it carries beyond reality. Not only is this theme, thought, or surrounding exaggerated but it might not even exist at all. (Might not make sense to SWIY but perhaps someday SWIY will understand) Then your attention gathers on something else. In large amounts SWIM has experienced a "camera frame" image. In which everything keeps flashing consistently like repeated snapshots. Now most know the salvia experience is completely different than these. One major difference is that it appears your surroundings completely dissapear and you go into a new dream like reality.

Salvia is very intense especially for first time trippers. Kind of a nasty way to get into it. Be warned that repeated use of LSD has a devistating effect on the mood and is not smart. Salvia just does not seem to cause this kind of damage and seems healthier on the mind. In SWIM's opinion, mescaline is his favorite. A very pleasant long lasting psychedellic very enjoyable for moderate tripping.

Re: Salvia or LSD: Which is more intense?

I have never chewed a quid (a bunch of salvia leaves). This is how it is traditionally done. Apparentally, natives believe smoking salvia is like burning your childrens fingers!
Anyway, the effect would come on slower and last longer more like Lsd. You would not get chucked into that 15 min mayhem that swim knows so well.like smoking dmt compared to ayahuasca (same active ingredient)

If you chew, you're going to need to use more than smoking it, and your going to be chewing for a while!
