Psychedelic tobacco
Back when I was interested in such compounds, I once read that the alkaloids stripped from tobacco that allow it to be used on a close to constant basis contained deliriants and were once upon a time used by indians in peace piupe ceremonies. It was supposedly non-addictive, because (following pattern) it caused people to throw up in the process and then hallucinate, so it was used on rare occasions -- perhaps (bi?)annually. Anyone ever hear of this? Do they know of any such materials? My searches have come up empty-handed.
