Wink Diphenhydramine and the Mind (Spaceship Cruizin)

Well SWIM was going through his drug phase you could say. SWIM had been into drinking, got old to SWIM, then got into marijuana, SWIM likes that, But SWIM wanted a little upgrade. SWIM was already well aware of DXM, cost wise Diphenhydramine was so much cheaper. SWIM was excited, but nervious not knowing much about the drug and hearing it to be called One Night In Hell by friends. SWIM did it with a buddy, had 500mg. SWIM had never been so scared. If he would walk his heart would speed up, he couldnt think straight, his stomach was turning , and of course it was all SWIMS fault.

The next day after proclaimin to friends he was done with drugs, He did research, Learned more about the drug itself, But also did some research on the mind. He went into the experience paranoid, worried about having heart failure (this thought came from another forum of moron) So swim wanted another shot, but thought he would start light, He ingested 250mg, Knowing this wasnt going to give him the trip of his life but a nice relaxed drunk type state, Oh and it did. He went into the trip positive and feeling like a wiz after learning the drug, and he never felt better. While he got to experience some nice little effects of dip he wanted more, but told himself no, another time. But SWIM was excited when he got to smoke, Diphenhydramine and Some good bud, SWIM though he had been lost in extacy for the next 4 hours. SWIM didnt have hallucinations but the room would move with the body giving him a hoovering feeling, SWIM got to go for a car ride on this, With someone who was sober of course, And SWIM felt like he was on a ufo going a lightspeed.... SWIM really wants to do 450mg And enjoy some Herb and maybe go for another spaceship ride )

SWIMS MORAL of the story is dont be an idiot, DO your research, and if you have doubts take a low amount or dont do it at all!

PS- SWIM was wondering how long the effects can actually last, SWIM has was drousy for 3 days after the 500 mg

SWIM has mixed marijuana and diphenhydramine before, and while the effects were nice SWIM noticed that the diphenhydramine and marijuana combination made him extremely tired. SWIM's experiences and research with anti-histamines lead SWIM to believe that the effects always last a few days longer. SWIM has also noticed and read about mild to moderate and even to severe HPPD lasting from days to weeks after a large dose. SWIM has noticed that he still feels the effects the next day if he falls asleep. SWIM doesn't know if this is because his metabolism slows down when he is sleeping, and more drug is present when he wakes up or if there is some other cause. Either way, SWIY feeling strange for days to weeks after is completely normal, but not a good indicator for the overall safety of the drug. SWIM has read research articles about heavy anti-histamine users having permanent changes to their occipital lobes creating a permanent HPPD.

The ones that SWIM quoted came from SWIM's research into HPPD. SWIM did some of his research at a local library, but can't recall the name of the book which he found the information in. With a quick search online SWIM found a couple of references to HPPD being caused by damage to, in particular, the occipital lobe. SWIM, having found no definite proof in articles to offer, has retracted his statement about brain damage as further research has seemed to come up with no definite tie between HPPD and brain damage being firmly established, the closest evidence that SWIM could find is the similarity of some brain atrophy diseases to HPPD, both in effects and treatment. These connections can be found with simple searches. SWIM admits that the statement he made can not be well backed up, but SWIM would be careful with such drugs, taking care to see if HPPD affects him after drug use and how long it stays around for. SWIM has noticed that he has some long term HPPD symptoms, in particular static, that he never had before going on binges with anti-histamines. SWIM is now much more observant as to the effects of the HPPD, and while it doesn't bother him he still observes it to see if it gets worse. SWIM knows that he will stop all anti-histamine usage as soon as he notices effects that are actually bothersome or deabilitating to SWIM, as the static effect does not bother SWIM now.

Swim used to dose 660mg's, and never deleriate, and comedown in a couple of hours.

...Athough swim was probly tolorant, but once swiy uses it for a while he will grow old of quickly.(IMHO)

Ah ty swim was pretty sure he had never read anything linking diphenhydramine to HPPD.Though any indepth articles on the effects of longterm diphenhydramine use would be a great addition to this thread. It's not something swim has seen alot of research or information on.
