Can anyone name off the best strains they've (or someone they know) has come across? I hear the strain White Widow is the best, as it is literally white with THC crystals. Is my info correct or is there something better?

SWIM has dealt with some high-class shit. And also some low-class, but that's for another time.

He loved white widow, and also came across a strain called white rino, less potent but very effective. He has also tried northern lights, purple haze, something a friend called blackjack? And also various substrains and some hybrids that a friend of his came up with.

He told me that in his area, there's a new substrain of some california stuff, and he says it is the best he's ever had, ever, ever. Just a small amount off a double bubbler kept him high for two days straight. There's this kind of stuff out there, SWIY has just got to experiment.

Yeah, word is White Rhino is some nice ganj. SWIM has heard of it being in his area, and he may just go and get some.

high for 2 days.. thats impossible, unless it was laced with some crazy drug, like DOI or somthing.

there are hundreds, maybe even thousands, of strains out there. often, swim just buys his bud and smokes it, with little regard for what strain it is. often, the high will hint at the genetics (indica v sativa).

some other strains swim has enjoyed include jack herrer, 007 skunk, blueberry, bubblegum, and ak47

SWIM is looking for a nice 100% sativa strain, a cannabis strain that doesn't make SWIM stoned, lazy and tired, but high, like a good sativa should be.
SWIM has asked the coffeeshop staff several times what they recommend, but they didn't have a clue, any SWIMmers got a good suggestion?

swib is a stimulant desiring hipster, downers have never been his thing. So that would apply as well to the kind of puff puff he puffs. I know he likes the mind altering affects that a sativa plant offers, the indica plant is right down and out , too much sleepy and not enough motivation to be a useful tool in his arsenial of weapons. ( although if the day is done and I am not under the gun, it is just what the doctor ordered )

SWIM had told me that there are several (1000's) of different strains. some of the things that would determine its greatness would be

its type basically like sativa or indica,

and the second main thing would be its THC content i was told great stuff is over 13% THC while some of the greats can be as high as 19 to 23% (sourced by High Times)

SWIM's favorites are Juicy Fruit and Catpiss. Trainwreck, Hashplant, Romulan, and Bubba Kush also blow SWIM's mind.

All strains are different and different people enjoy different strains more than others. Some strains may have different ratios of cannabinoids in them, which would explain the high. Strains which have indica dominant genetics (like afghaan strains) will 'ground' you and have a 'body stone' effect. While sativa or mainly sativa strains (for example thai/brazilian/mexican heritage) will have a very cerebal high which some people prefer.

For SWIM he prefers the more sativa dominant strains such as hazes. SWIM enjoys being able to function properly instead on just being sat on a couch in a vegatetive state for a few hours. SWIM finds the high much more enjoyable. Having said that SWIM likes to sample a few different strains and will never say no to a nice piece of quality hasj!
