Swim tryed this before and had the best high in his life

SWIm has sprinkled crushed up vicoden and or percocet on his joints, but they were fresh, none of this for months stuff. He really can't say how much this helped the high because by the time he did this he was already messed up on the painkillers.

Swim would not recommend any1 to start smoking pills since many if not ALL are designed to be taken orally. They are not designed to be heated and smoked, and the health risks associated in doing so is not well studied.

For example lets take Percocet; by smoking it to achieve a high you are not only smoking the Oxycodone but all thee other containing chemicals as well, such as the binders and Acetaminophen.. all stuff that I can't imagine would be nice to you lungs. Remember the more smoke you take into your lungs the worse it is for both your lungs and body, so be smart.

Besides smoking there are far better ways of consumtion in swims opinion...parachuting...injection...and so on. *(Depending on the chemical in question)

O' and as far as marijuana that is months old... depending on if it was properly dried, stored and shows no signs of mold or any other abnormalities...swims see no harm in smoking it and has done so himself in the past. However he didnt mix it w/ crushed up pills as a means to strenghten the the weed he has however pop'd oxy and then went on to go and smoke some good ol Mary Jane afterwards, which in swims opinion is a great combination.

swim had marijuana that was hidden in his room in a altoids tin(how stereotypical of a stoner) and 6-7 mos later when i got back it was still good and when i smoked it it didnt seem that much worse than before. actually it had a smoother smoke i think the chlorophyll leeches out over time.

Real connoisseurs (who probably grow their own 90+% of the time) won't smoke anything that has been harvested in the past 18 months. I think this gives the time for cellulose (a polysaccharide derived from beta-glucose) to break down into simple sugars (monosaccharides, beta-glucose?) which gives the bud a better/smoother taste.

Someone correct me if I am wrong?

that sounds about right. erowid says that thc degrades by 25 percent every 6mos.

Don't smoke pills! If you want to store bud for a decent high just have it curing for a long time (without a crushed up pill or anything else in there)

This is probably really good advice, swim used to do this when he was younger and stupider and if you start to think about what is in those 200mg that has an active ingredient of like 5mg, you are smoking nearly 98% trash! And then you are also assuming the active ingredient vaporizes and does not pyrolize and turn into some type of carcinogen that will make you have to have your balls removed in 5 years.

Take the time to extract it and do the research first to be sure that the compound is in the right form to be vaporized (if it has an amine, this usually means the freebase, i.e. DMT freebase, crack cocaine (cocaine freebase)) etc...


Now as far as storing bud, i have heard of people storing/curing? it with some type of flavoring agent (banana peals, orange peals sp?) maybe you could try some kool aid powder? just be sure the bud is not actually touching the powder, kuz you probably dont wanna smoke that either.

Hooda, I'm not saying that you're 25% claim is false, I'm just wondering if you can back that up with a reputable source. From my understanding, if properly stored in a dark cool place, you should not have to worry about degradation. Kinda like a fine wine, it'll get better with age. Properly cured herb can take weeks to cure. Once it's cured, maintain it's integrity, and you should have no problems with the quality.

This is my understanding of it as well; I thought that the cellulose broke down, maybe this is the 25% you read about.

hmmm, well I would believe THC degrades over time....it is a complex molecule...entropy wants to drive it into smaller pieces.

But, I think this only happens if the bud is not stored properly (i.e. left out in the open in the sun and the heat)...but if swiy freezes it and/or stores it properly(like swisnapper) it won't degrade and may taste better with longer curing.

It loses the green color and the taste changes - it is less pungent and sometime mostly tasteless, but still as strong as far as THC. SWIM dried it thoroughly (so that it crumbled to a powder when pinched) and stord in plastic, sealed containers in a dark room temp place. Seemed to do well long term that way.
Air exposure is probably the worst thing to diminish weed potency, and moisture is what makes it moldy and degrade. When ready to smoke, take the crispy dried stuff and put a small amount of a damp paper towel. Let sit for a few days and keep moistening the paper towel until weed turns soft and pliable again. Then it's as good as new minus the pungent skunky taste.

swim would have to say that light or heat is probably the worst thing for storing pot, unless mold is a prevailant issue in swiy's climate. swim always stores his pot in fish egg bait glass jars spray painted black. that usually does the trick. except for going somewhere like rehab or jail for a long period of time swim dosent ever have a sack around for more than a month.

If swim puts bud in an airtight jar with a piece of paper in it and leaves to cure for many months, swim's bud will become more potent and overall a more enjoyable smoke.

SWIM found 2 old bags in a car that she helped restore, which a friend of SWIMs had put in there a year before, alittle dried up it was, but smoked fine! Great high too now! Just keep it in the dark, and no heat, sealed up good and your good to go.
