Inside of the dried pod rotten?
SWIM had a single pod from a batch that when opened contained no seeds, but the inside was covered with a black substance. It almost looks like the seeds inside got wet and deteriorated and then dried inside. Anyone know what this is and if the pod is any good?

Re: Inside of the dried pod rotten?
If you could take a pic it would help. It probably isn;t mold if it is just black. Seedless normally means that the seller drained them to sell seperately - was there a small circular hole in the top?
If you are worried and it is one pod, just throw it out. Better safe than sorry. Last edited by MrJim; 12-06-2007 at 23:21. |

Re: Inside of the dried pod rotten?
Thanks MrJim.
After 5 days of searching (including a post here about it) SWIM finally just found out that it is indeed mold, and could potentially be harmful. SWIM now says it's trash. |
