Storing powdered GHB

SWIM recently performed a GBL to GHB conversion that went well (although the Pyrex jug cracked in the end) but SWIM was wondering how he should store his powdered GHB. Currently, it is in an airtight container in a plastic bag in a cool, dry place but SWIM has two small packets of silica gel available. Should he put that in with the GHB to help absorb moisture or will that have any effect on the actual chemical of GHB?

SWIM used to put silica gel sachets in with his powdered GHB but it never seemed to make much of a difference. The powder just clogged up the pores in the satchets pretty much rendering them useless.

There is no need for concern about the stability of the GHB, it is not possible for the silica gel to affect the G powder chemically.

SWIY just needs to keep the container sealed as much as possible.

swim use silica in a tightly closed plastic box and it seams to be ok.
