County calls for legalization

[top]Mendocino County Hopes To Legalize Marijuana

Jun. 11 - KGO - So much illegal marijuana is being grown and seized in Mendocino County, that supervisors there are now calling for its legalization.
Four of the county's five supervisors have now sent a letter to Washington D.C. urging the federal government to legalize and regulate marijuana as it does alcohol. They argue that legalizing the drug would give officials more control over where it's grown, its distribution and its use.

SWIS approves.

Re: County calls for legalization

This would be a huge milestone... I mean could you imagine walking into a stor and buying weed?

Well, it seems they are making the right decision why fight it(it's obviously not working if theyre gunna do this) when they can regulate it,tax it, and cut out the dealers(or hit them pretty badly;which is the overgrowing proble I pressume.) I also approve

Re: County calls for legalization

The Feds will respond with a kind offer to either cut off all Federal highway funds to Mendocino County, or offer Apache Attack Helicopters should they come to their senses and fight the War On Drugs like responsible county commisioners.
