The beauty of Ambien is that you wake up feeling rested due to the drug's short half-life. It is nothing compared to a 3 E comedown!
Ambien's whole reason for existence is the lack of morning after side effects geeb |

That may be for the case for you Geeb, but for many people it isn't. Side effect profiles aren't made up to scare people, they're based on people's experiences and reports, much as this forum is.
Benzo's and sleepers are amongst the most habit forming substances known to man, and imho their whole reason for existence is to provide short term relief for anxiety and insomnia, and to make money for Big Pharma, the most unscrupulous pushers the world will ever know. These drugs are as addictive, harmful and as hard to kick as heroin, and serve much the same purpose - an easy fix for a deep rooted problem, an analgesic for the soul, with a veneer of respectability because they're available on prescription and have pretty names. Obviously not the case for everyone, and they can be a useful tool in the short term, but not to be relied on in the long. Be careful, be very careful... I'm sorry if I've offended anyone, but this a subject close to my heart- I've known too many people mess up on this path to keep quiet. There seems to be a lot of info on this part of the forum about how to abuse these drugs, and very little on what impact they have on peoples lives. The Forum as a whole is about information on every aspect of drug use, not just tips on how to get the most from a dose. |

i've been taking 10mg for a week now and haven't had any morningafter hangovers. I know you're supposed to be prepared to at least have 7 or 8 hours of sleep if you're gonna take it.
