SWIM uprooted a tree that wasnt making progress but still green, about 2 feet tall, stalk one centimeter thick and roots clump (including dirt) the size of softball, dirt sprayed off of course, but this was all blended up into fine chunks.... SWIM is boiling a tea right now and will report back soon.
Any thoughts???

Re: Alkaloids in Roots and Stalk of Kratom?
Sipping now, tastes much more bitter than the leaves. Maybe the alkaloid content is higher!! no one is even viewing this forum, guess it will turn into an experience report soon

Re: Alkaloids in Roots and Stalk of Kratom?
My 1st instict would assume that the root has none if any mitragynine alkaloids...though keep us posted!

AW: Alkaloids in Roots and Stalk of Kratom?
i know that the stems def. do contain alkaloids, even though in a different mixture. there are supposed to be a little less mytragyne alkaloids and a few more of those, that are said to prevent people from building up tolerance.

Re: Alkaloids in Roots and Stalk of Kratom?
yeah in terms of grams, the stalk and root SWIM would say equated in potency to the same amount of crushed leaf from bali.
