Stoners in the Mist | AboveTheInfluence.com
http://abovetheinfluence.com/stoners/Default.aspx
This "documentary" is "real." It's filmed as though stoners are a wild animal and are being documented on film, like something you'd see on Animal Planet. One scene involves sneaking up to the stoners (who are high on a couch) and placing a radio frequency tag on them, without them being fully aware of it (because they are stoned out of their gourds), to track their movements. 72 hours later and they haven't moved. Another scene involves putting them in a testing room to check out their motor reflexes. They can't catch balls thrown at them. Later they go out to drive a car on a designated course and run a stop sign and knock over the barrier cones. They are a "danger to themselves and the public." They "are a tragic species." This is probably really entertaining to watch if high and another great example at how ridiculous most anti-drug propaganda is. Last edited by mouthwater; 07-06-2007 at 20:49. |

Re: Stoners in the Mist | AboveTheInfluence.com
Swim finds it very interesting how they can show that stoner's do not move at all over a 72 hour period of time. But then show that they can't drive a car. This seems rather contradicting, if you are sitting on a couch, will you drive?

Re: Stoners in the Mist | AboveTheInfluence.com
These filmmakers have some really strange hobbies. Who tags and monitors the bodies and lives of random stoners? Above the influence... just another influential outlet remolding the minds of the stupid. The influence that "Above the Influence" has on the youth as they collect their drug war funding is no more enlightened than the influence of a coke dealer trying to get rich by telling people cocaine is risk free and good for everyone.
