My cooling CWE solution froze-Is it still ok?

Can I just leave it out on the counter until thawed and continue with the extraction?

Freezing shouldn't damage the codiene. One should be able to still extract from it.

Thanks Mr. Jim! SWIM left some liquid and a chunk of ice in the filter overnight and the resultant filtered liquid looks very clear. SWIM will keep it refrigerated until use tomorrow.

Re: My cooling CWE solution froze-Is it still ok?

There is an opiate extraction technique called Iceolation to do with poppy extraction. It relies heavily on the freezing and refreezing of opiates.

A friend routinely keeps his CWEs frozen for srorage. It will keep till hell freezes over. It also prevents the CWE from turning brown.
