Snorting - Eureka! A way to snort Propylhexedrine!

Now SWIM and several other people here always here always knew there was something special about proplhexedrine. A high on par with meth thats OTC? The only problem was that admistrating the drug is a pain in the ass. So SWIM came accross this article. What made the drug unsnortable was the high acid from the hydrocloric acid, but if you basify this with lye, then it seems it is no longer a problem. I found this from this post:

I made a post a few days ago called "Extracting Propylhexedrine" because I crudely extracted some on the whim of a fart because I just wanted to. Because I got a nice powder back (that stunk of lavender), I decided to get six cottons, and do it the RIGHT way, so we could snort this shit. So here are the results for everyone.

I bought six inhalers, cracked them all open and removed all the cottons. Mix 20ml water with 10ml hydrochloric acid. Cut the cottons to pieces and soak them in the acidified water. Squeeze all the cotton for about five minutes, 'milking' all the propylhexedrine from the cotton, converting it into the hydrochloride salt. Filter the liquid about three times using a fresh filter each time.

Measure out about 1/8th of a teaspoon of lye, and very carefully pour the lye into the filtered propylhexedrine solution. Stir the solution for a little bit. If the solution does NOT stay cloudy, carefully add a little bit more lye until it does stay cloudy.

Transfer the solution into a bottle. Add about 30ml of diethyl ether, screw a cap on the bottle (I used a large vanilla extract bottle), and shake for five minutes. Set the bottle down, and let the layers separate. Get an eyedropper and suck up the top layer, which is the ether, and put it into a fresh bottle. Now to the new bottle with the ether, add 25ml of distilled water, and 5 drops of hydrochloric acid. Put a cap on the bottle, and shake the bottle for five minutes. Put it down and let the layers separate; suck up the top layer with the eye dropper and discard it, leaving the water with the propylhexedrine.

Evaporate the water over low heat, leaving relatively pure propylhexedrine hydrochloride. From six cottons, I got back 1.3 grams crystalline propylhexedrine hydrochloride.

Snorting this stuff, it feels just like snorting normal methamphetamine, except with more of a sting. Definitely a pharmaceutical drip! The high comes on pretty quickly. YOu can definitely feel the euphoric part of the propylhexedrine hit you even moreso than when taking it as a cotton. There isn't much difference in the high, except that it is definitely more intense.

Very nice find.

But I'm not so sure that we should make comparisons of propylhexedrine to certain other chemicals for which there is currently a nationwide witchhunt, even if the comparisons are honest assessments.

If we do, there will soon enough be journalists citing pages like this which claim that the drug is on par with meth, calling for the scheduling of propylhexedrine.

I know that diethyl ether is an ingredient in many household products. Is it okay to use one of these products for that step in the extraction? Or is pure labratory grade necessary for this?

This seems to swim like a very bad idea. Even though the directions seem to be very accurate, swim doesn't think that snorting propylhexedrine would be good for your body. If you can't stomach propyl, swim thinks that it shouldn't be taken then.

yes homemade ether can be used,theres direction on the forum for making it from starting fluid.

the OP says the problem with eating/snorting is from the HCL content in the end product he claims this can be fixed by basifying the end result.

My question is, can you cut this recipe in half? i.e., use 3 cottons and half the amounts of everything else? I know that sometimes chemistry doesn't work that way, but i'm not too good at this stuff yet, so I don't wanna risk wasting $35 worth of cottons and then screwing up and coming out with nothing useable.

i wouldent cut the amounts besides the HCL maybe use a drop or 2 less.but iff you follow the directions you shouldent have a problem,its one of the simplest extracts ive seen.

so you're saying that even if i was using 3 cottons, I should still use the same amounts with the other ingredients?

well you will probably need less sodium hydroxide(the instruction say to keep adding untill it stays cloudy start low and work up),but i think that the ether and water should stay the same to make sure you extract all the goodies.

Where does swiy buy propylhexedrine? swim has checked walgreens, harris teeter, rite aid and several others. swim is wondering if they keep them behind the counter or if they just arent popular enough to have around this area?

look for the benzedrex inhalers, in the cough & cold section.. will probably be right next to the vicks inhalers. WADE has seen them in pretty much every CVS and Rite Aid he's been in.

Does anyone know if this extraction will work with less non-polar solvents than ether. Naptha or something else would be nice, as swim doesn't really like explosive fumes in his house.
