Snorting - snorting coca leaf powder ?

ive seen this in many online shops, could you actually snort this?

no you cannot. This is is coca leaf powder, not the extracted HCl alkaloid cocaine. Cocaine concentration is very low in coca leaf, and the vegetable matter would not dissolve in you sinuses, just obstruct them. It is sold as powder for convenience, as coca tea is actually ground up coca coarse powder.
Coca leaf powder is used to make a rather calming tea ( due to the alkaloid combination of the leaf, drinking coca tea is actually refreshing, for mind and body, but also calming, as swiyou can see this is very different from cocaine) or eventually chew the powder ( which is a traditional way of use in the amazon basin, the powder is mixed with an alkali, burnt shell to which one can substitue baking soda, and put in bamboo straws, the powder alkali mix is then sucked chewed on during the day)
However, you can also EAT coca leaf powder, with or without wrapping, which is actually quite effective as a mild stimulant.

The use of this leave began in the mountains of South America. As Benga said it was used as a calming tea by those who lived at high altitudes. It is sold openly on the streets of Peru and Columbia.

Aswell as brewing it as a tea you can chew the leaf. This offers the same affect as the tea.

ACTUALLY YOU CAN, as you can snort tobacco powder or sawdust if you whish. Anyway if you are looking for a hight, it wont give any, thanks god.

on the contrary, swim tried a certain method... it will give some effects but not like cocaine... here's the way this happened..
swim had coca tea bags, and there was very very fine dust that made it through the teabags left in the wrapper, swim did feel a buzz from it.. very very little, had brown snot, not worth it, more like a teeny-tiny dose of atropine. yep. don't know about the powders online, but for coca leaf chewing is great.

if one was to make a crude resin out of the powder, then acid wash it to from crystal, would one be able to snort that? mind you, swim is new, barely finished h.s. so he knows nothing about chem, just tryna understand the process.

swim read the posts on making a crude coca leaf extract, thank for breaking it down where us newbies can understand it. not everyone understand the chemical terminology, so that was great. it finally starts to click for swim. gonna try to extract and evap this week, and hopefully get crystals out of it so I can snort it.

well the point being that coca has a broad spectrum of alkaloids, which all contribute to the effects of coca. Cocaine if just one of them, and even if cocaine is one of the most predoinant coca and cocaine are very different. Yes you can isolate and extract cocaine, but it's effets won't be the same as those of coca. Cocaine isn't just coca made stronger. swim very much doubts that crystals coud be obtained from a resinous extract without loosing the rest of the alkaloids.
