intramuscular dextro-amphetamine injection??

is it reasonably safe to inject dextroamphetamine sulphate IM?swim tried it prefering to IM drugs rather than iv cuz iv kinda freaks him out knowing the whatever solution is going to come in direct contact with his brain.he noticed a dead arm ache around injection site but massaging made this go away,but the effects were great and swim wants to know how bad this would be to do 2 or 3 times a month at 20mg ish doses,particularly is it going to dissolve swims mussle tissue or sumptin?

The drug will come into contact with the brain anyway! Unless there is some nasty adulterant in the speed (amphetamine sulphate is almost always cut with something-- only dextrose if you are lucky) it won't dissolve any muscle. 20mg 2 or 3 times a month would be unlikey to hurt anyone much, but doses usually go up.

In the interests of harm reduction (ie, problems associted with using needles which are the same with IM as IV injections), why not just take it orally or snort it? Perhaps needles freak SWIY out for some good reason?

I dunno, any scientific merit aside, injecting an adderall into one's muscle just seems painful. I know, I know, there is no scientific merit to that, but I just have this bad mental picture of a large adderall capsule (intact, mind you) wedged in one's muscle

adderall has too much filler , buffer, and other crap, its not a good pill to IV

swim ived adderall but made sure to really filter it. like 8 times. im injection really is pointless it is just like snorting, sublingual or parachuting

swim extracts his adderall with xr with isopropyl alcohol and a 0.5 micron filter on a syrninge and the residue left over is fucking potent shit. i would say almost mg for mg purity. a line the size of half a toothpick had him up for 12 hours. it was probably a 50mg line. swim would feel more comfortable injecting this than anything he bought from a dealer.
