Have you gained weight from smoking?

SWIM isquite health conscious, whenever he gets the munchies he succumbs and goes on a mini-binge (although he's cutting that down now.) Have any of you gained weight off munchie-snacks, or does the drug speed up your metabolism so those calories are burnt quicker?
