will using mimosa bark create 5-meo and dmt mixed ?

swim was looking at the extractions and found the stuff interested, while he hasnt actually purchased the materials, he heard from a friend that if you use bark instead of powdered inner, you would get 5-meo-dmt and dmt blended together in extraction as crystals, the question is, is this true and also if not, what happens to the 5-meo, and if it is true wouldnt this make doses subsequently lower as 5-meo is active at a lower mg ratio ?

Mimosa Hostilis contains n,n-dimethyltryptamine (DMT). The reason the inner bark is used is due to the higher concentration of DMT - not due to the presence of 5-Methoxy-n,n-dimethyltryptamine.

There are many other plants/trees out there that contain both. Just be certain of your source if n,n-DMT is what your monkey desires.

yes sorry i was referrng to mimosa hostilis bark, so if an extraction were to take place then N,N-dimethyltryptamine would be the main chemical and not 5-meo-dmt ?

or does mimosa hostilis contain purely n,n and no 5-meo-dmt

Extracting MHRB with any standard tek using naptha or heptane will result in mostly NN.

Using xylene or toluene will will also pull an as yet unidentified (at least to my satisfaction - don't say yuremamine!) compound which is similar in effect to and active at comparable doses to 5MEO.

ether or xylenes are a better sovent for it than heptane or naptha

My reading indicates Mimosa Hostilis rootbark contains ~0.6% N,N-DMT and 0.0% 5-MeO-DMT. If anyone has confirmed proof that there is any 5-MeO-DMT at all in it, please show me a source of info.

Everything Bongo has read indicates n,n-Dimethyltryptamine exclusively in MHRB. If any 5-MeO is present, it is in trace quantities. And judging from the experiential data - this seems to be true. The difference between the two are unmistakable to experienced users.
