Powdered, Pre-Shredded, or Whole Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark??
SWIM was wondering what everyone prefers when it comes to MHRB. SWIM has heard that using powdered stuff can make the liquid kind of "sludgy". Obviously the whole stuff is the most common, but it seems like the pre-shredded stuff would work ok too. What do you think?

swim had no problems with the pre-powdered stuff other than a low yield; 150mg from 112g (0.13 % alkaloid content?). But this may be the content of the MHRB he got and not the fact that it is pre-powdered. He may be able to recover more as he is going to do another extraction w/ the basified soy sauce. SWIM partially did this because he got all the supplies for free and would have had to purchase a blender which he did not want to do.

powdered is the easiet to use and is perfect for a straight to base extraction
now where would i post such a thing?
