Eleven people have been arrested as part of an operation targeting drug dealing in Galway city.
Ten men and one woman were taken into custody following raids on a number of houses between 5am and 10am.
Approximately €25,000 worth of heroin, cocaine and ecstasy tablets were seized.
The 11 people are being detained at garda stations in Galway city, Loughrea, Gort and Tuam.
Members of the Galway divisional drugs unit backed up by officers from the national drugs unit were involved in the operation.
