Gnarls the cat ate 3.5g of boomers the other night, and this was his first trip. He is not quite sure which type of mushroom they were, but assumes the standard p. cubenesis. It was the cat's first trip, and it was earth shattering, at least at the time. Gnarls thought he was dying, but was not scared or freaking out. He was just calm and accepting of this fate he had subjected himself to. After about 30 minutes of negative thoughts everything became fine. When the cat closed his eyes he would see crazy landscapes with grided eyes like alex grey's work, he also saw images of trees, pyramids, more eyes, and a figure that had lots of eyes sitting by a tree (like the thing in A scanner Darkly when the guy who played slater in dazed and confused tried to OD). A thought kept racing through the mind of the cat, "is this a fucking placebo effect?" So Gnarls is wondering that the things people see on trips are higly influenced by what others in movies/trip reports/trippy images say tripping is like. Gnarls feels that to some extent this is true. Gnarls would like to know what others think on this. (placebo might not be the best word for this, but that is what popped into gnarl's mind as he was tripping, or se he says....)
