Ephedra, marketed as "herbal ecstasy" and used often as a truly effective diet aid (teamed with caffeine and aspirin in an ECA stack, such as Hydroxycut), really is neat stuff, so long as you treat it with a little bit of caution. In some it can cause irregular heartbeat, heightened blood pressure, and a host of other, generally mild side effects. These issues aside, here's some good effects. It will

- elevate your mood
- increase your energy very noticeably for a few hours
- give you a very mild, speedy, yet pseudo mdma-like body buzz, especially if taken with caffeine.

Sounds perfect for. RAVERS! (Like Swim ) Swim doesn,t like rolling too often, he loves to go to the club or a show and just dance the night away without doing E, but it can be so hard to keep the energy up. Swim advises any and all ravers out there to give this a try if you suffer from "I want to dance, but I can't lift my feet!" syndrome. Be careful if you have a heart condition though, as Ephedra is generally not safe for such users.

Swim uses Ephedra all the time for dieting or just energy. It's good stuff and safe.

If you hate cleaning your house: Take 1 ephedra and wait 45 minutes and then clean your house

Swim likes to use Ephedra when he visits a house party. Also the day after u use XTC, Ephedra will give you some energy if you're down.

That's true, anytime you have something to do ephedrine can help you out. Swim uses it to help me study. It gives swim energy and helps swim focus.

Your not alone Antidote, I too am a big user of ephedrine. Its great before a work out, a night out to the club or party or even just to house clean. People with major heart problems should be a little carefull with it. Other than that ITS AWSOME!!!!!!

This is one of the only positive threads I've ever read about any sort
of "Herbal-E". Whilst its pretty much a given that nothing is a
replacement, I sometimes need a kick up the backside to do the "Clean
the House" thing.. Will go out and get some

Ephedra is kind of cool. Daily use will cause mood swings in the already unstable.

To get a high close to XTC:

Take a good dose of a benzodiazepine w/ ephedra (SWIM uses Klonopins or XanaX).

The benzo inebriates and lowers inhibition. The ephedra gets you amped and stops drowsiness. Its really a stand-in for MDMA. Swims not joking SWIM does this all the time

i cant use anything with ephedra.. in the past i had to visit a cardiologist several times for an irregular heartbeat. Thank God it passed after a week of no use, but ephedra is truly nothing to fuck around with if you have ever had an adverse reaction to it

"It's good stuff and safe."

There is a large body of research that suggests this isn't the case.
Ephedrine causes heart problems in normal healthy people. This is not
necessarily a case of other "speedy" drugs which are still utilized by
the same medical authorities (i.e. types of amphetamines)

Ephedrine is fun, but not worth the risk IMO.

It is definately not a good idea to use this stuff daily, but I find that this stuff gives me the edge I need when I need to study a great deal. A tolerance can be built though, so thats another reason to limit your use of this stuff.

Heh .. good for studying. But what do you do with the other dozens of tablets left when you're done?

It's hard to say goodbye to pills even when it's for your own good sometimes.

I put them away for when they can be useful again. I do not find myself fighting any urge to use them up quickly because I am more interested in relaxing and resting my body than getting sped up. I also have bad sleeping problems so stimulents are a last resort.

Larger does of ephedrine tend to be unpleasant in my experience.

Swim combines it with Caffeine - it is much better than ephedrine alone - both for the energy and for the concentration.

Swim thinks he felt pain in his kidneys once when using it - did any of you experience this?
