Rolling Ettiquette
Not sure if this has been done. Does swiy have an ettiquette when they roll, and if so what is it.
SWIM's is You can roll at swim's house, if swiy bring the OJ/gatorade. This is rather random but it is 2 o'clock and SWIM is rolling. |

Re: Rolling Ettiquette
Swim has found it is better to stay away from female friends of Swim as some regretable stuff often happens.

Re: Rolling Ettiquette
Check yourself before you wreck yourself.
Do what ever you can to make sure that nothing that happens that is too regretable or possibly unfortunate. Know your limits, have an idea of your surroundings, and set up basic rules for yourself if you need to. Respect other people's personal space, no matter how 'in the moment you are' (especially for guys). Don't divulge any information that is better kept a secret or let out at a more sensative time (your love for someone, messed up things about you). Try to roll around people you don't have any bad or uncertain emotions towards, even if that means you have to be around perfect strangers. Do whatever feels good and right to you and don't care about what other people think of you. Pursue your happiness (unless it infringes on another person's happiness). |

Re: Rolling Ettiquette
SWIM agrees mostly with what's been said...
One "ritual" he has always had while rolling is to make sure there is plenty to drink around... Another thing is that SWIM has never rolled without his good friend. though that might change, something that won't is that SWIM must have someone close to him around... Other than that, SWIM doesn't really care about rolling ettiquette, except he hates it if someone tries to bum him out... That usually just results in SWIM walking away from the bummer and talking with other people though, lol... Or he'll just talk the bummer into a good mood! SWIM loves talking to people while he's rolling, especially about important stuff... Funny thing is people tend to listen to SWIM while he's rolling, because he's making a lot more sense! haha |

Re: Rolling Ettiquette
Psycholic, very interesting question. Never heard of such a thing, but SWIM does recall rolling with her boyfriend and another male friend. X has always affected SWIM and her significant other in a rather passionate, and intimate way, which SWIY didn't like at all and was even getting upset because SWIM and her mate were so into each other. A major buzzkill was the big deal SWIY was making and the need to complain was unnecessary. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that from SWIM's experience, it would be best for SWIY to accept and be cool when rolling in mixed company, and let everyone enjoy their high. Oh, another thing was that SWIY kept monoplozing the music, which was extremely annoying. Make sure SWIY rolls with cool people who know how to just chill and hang out and let everyone do their own thing!
Hope this helps!

Re: Rolling Ettiquette
Swim never really thinks about etiquette when he is rolling or going to roll. Everyone just tries to do their part and by the time you are rolling everything is going swimmingly (no pun intended). If the setting needs to be prepped then everyone discusses what to do and helps out. But yeah... once you are rolling, I really dont think you need a system of etiquette to keep in mind. Everyone is caring about everyone else more than enough, and no one is taking offense to anything, so you dont get any problems really, or at least swim has never encountered any.

Re: Rolling Ettiquette
At a houseparty one night Bongo attended, everyone had taken MDMA.
One person exclaimed how they loved both guys and girls for real. Another person said how sick and demented that was. Bongo explained that people who would say that were terribly worried about their own sexuality - and needed to prove they had no homosexual thoughts of their own. That person spent the rest of the night hiding behind a floor-to-ceiling curtain. No convenient closet was available. He later made a pass at Bongo. Bongo declined. |

Re: Rolling Ettiquette
Nagognog, Bongo's stories never cease to entertain, and make amazing points....
SWIM thinks a point made here is when rolling, don't let people bring you down... they just have their own issues to deal with... if you can help them, then good for you! If not, don't let their troubles bring YOU down. |
