swim finds the ketamine experiance to be like a cross between GHB and LSD.

Re: What is similar to ketamine?

Ketamine is nothing like LSD or 2C-B or mushrooms. It's not a serotonergic psychedelic like them.

It exerts its effects primarily through NMDA antagonism. The most similar drugs to ketamine would be pharmaceuticals and research chemicals such as:

* tiletamine
* dizocilpine (MK-801)
* phencyclidine (PCP)
* 4-methoxy-phencyclidine
* rolicyclidine (PCPy)
* tenocyclidine (TCP)
* eticyclidine (PCE)
* gacyclidine
* 8a-phenyldecahydroquinoline
* 1-(3-ethylphenyl)-1-methyl-2-naphthalen-1-ylguanidine
* (4aR,9aS)-N-Ethyl-4,4a,9,9a-tetrahydro-1H-fluoren-4a-amine
* nitrous oxide
* dextromethorphan
* dextrorphan

And so on and so forth. Whichever of these is the shortest acting will probably be the most like ketamine at higher doses.

Re: What is similar to ketamine?

Is any of this stuff legal in the UK??

SWIM used to be able to get hold of 2bc's, and ket is pretty easy to get, but mushrooms and LSD?? Not a chance.

SWIM is in the same position - tolerance to ket is ridiculously high and the side effects are pretty bad with regards to health problems. SWIM is wanting to try something new now. x
