Recommended method for Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
Hey,
SWIM has 10 HBWR seeds, but isn't too sure how to go about using them. The CWE threads seem to be using a whole load of seeds, so SWIM was just wondering if CWE would be appropriate for his meagre amount? If not, what would SWIY recommend? SWIM knows 10 seeds isn't a lot, but source says they are Hawaiian strain(Not too sure personally, as source has proven unreliable before) which he hear makes a difference. So, how would SWIY recommend SWIM uses it? |

Re: Recommended method for HBWR
Madagascar seeds are the extra potent ones generally, not the Hawaiian ones. Ten seeds may not be a bad amount, though swiy may find he needs more.
I would suggest doing a CWE. Its the same process whether you are using MG seeds or HBWR really, just a different quantity of seeds. |

Re: Recommended method for HBWR
SWIM already has water cooling for a CWE Codeine, so he'll use that for the HBWR instead.
One more thing, would a huge rolling pin work in crushing the seeds? (Asked because it's all he has, it has worked fine with Codeine previously, but he wonders if it will be enough to crack through the shells) |

Re: Recommended method for HBWR
I doubt it will be enough unless you use it like a baseball bat, in which case shells will fly all over the place.
Time for swiy to get creative it looks like. Nothing else that can be used to crush? Look around and experiment a bit. |

perhaps a razor blade to chop e'm up, then maybe a rolling pen.

Re: Recommended method for HBWR
SWIM looked around and found a huge marble rolling pin with blunt ends. A few hammers from that crushed them up pretty good.
SWIM used the product about half an hour ago and feels fuzzy. |

Re: Recommended method for HBWR
Fuzzy wuzzy like the bear, happy and sappy without a care? Or do you mean fuzzy in a not so good way?
![]() It the above made absolutely no sense, then maybe the seeds worked for swiy. Or maybe swim needs to lay off some substances..... |

Re: Recommended method for HBWR
Hammers work surprisingly well for this. Put a piece of paper under them to catch shell fragments and crush 'em up. Usually I'd recommend a coffee grinder as the best method, but with HBWR you're dealing with a very small number of seeds and it might not be worth the hastle.
Definately don't expect too much from it though... some people trip and some don't. I'm guessing by "fuzzy" you mean "I feel slightly altered but it's not really a trip". SWIM has gotten results like that even from 20+ seeds and has just about given up on LSA.

Re: Recommended method for HBWR
some claim Mg's to pulverize HBWR, i suppose it's because of the, said-"more alkaloids in MG's".

Re: Recommended method for HBWR
They are different experiences though, good in their own way. It depends what you are looking for. Also alkaloid content can vary between various HBWR and MG seeds themselves. You just have to experiment and find what works best for you.
