Amoxycillin and Cannabis

SWIM was wondering if his Amoxycillin antiobiotic medication will react badly with Cannabis?

SWIM tried doing some research but to no avail. SWIM was wondering if anybody has had a first hand experience with it. ANything would be helpful.

A search of Medline does not reveal any specific interaction between cannabis and penicillins. Of course, SWIY could always be the first!

What SWIY really should be thinking of is: Is it wise to take psychoactives when one is unwell? Or would it be more sensible to wait until they are in ruder health?

Don't worry, Antibiotics and dope are not contraindicated.

Whilst yes, being in rude health would be better (the ruder the better, fnarr fnarr!), SWIM can confirm that when he has been a little poorly and is on Amoxy (or most any other ABX), a little puff can do wonders for his appetite and it can pick him up no end.

SWIJ poses are very good question. SWIM has been saving a fair amount for a party (which he would share with friends), and was very disheartend when SWIM found out he had to take antibiotics .
