My concern is repeating the same action could lead to the same reaction.
Frankly, going to the corner pill pusher would be less risky. And probably cheaper in many cases.

Yeah, there is no foolproof way to order anything online, and the more
or more frequently you order, the more trail you leave behind.

Had my day in court, at least had my sentence given. 1 year probation, and $2000 fine. Met with my probation officer after court, and, amoung other things, he wants me to attend AA meetings and see a counsler. Now I'm counting down the days for another year to pass.

I think you got off easy, that probably could have been a lot
worse. Just don't make any mistakes for a year and you should be
clear. Will your record be cleaned after that?

I was waiting the whole month in jail to find out what happened to you. Sounds like you made out ok, true the fine sucks but all and all it seems alright. I dotn remember (because i read this a while ago) but what charges did they give u? Having pills with out a valid script or something like that? and Also was that your first deal offered to you 1 yr. probation and 2k fine? Also with your P.O. he "SUGGESTED"you go to AA, as long as it wasntin the deal, and on the piece of paper u signed it's just a suggestion. Myquestion is why AA and not NA?

All and all things turned out aite. you gonna order perscriptions online anymore?

Re: home searched due to mail orders

I am a chronic pain patient being legaly RA'ed heavy duty pain meds by a specialst in pain care. I went to hime after my VA stopped dealing with chroich pain thru their clinic. I was cut off cold and went thru hell. I almost went with one of american co. that offered to provide up to the level of vicodan. Being a member of a great paun board I was advied tjat it was illegal And this is where you pay a feww hundred up front to be Phone screened" by one of the cos "drs". After he "approved you" you could get a 90 day supply. The cost was obscene, about 6 bux a pill. I found out that this was a govt sting by the feda. the fallowed you order out and nailed you as soon as the delivery was made!
No matter how it looks dont do it!
@ years ago SSWIMS friend went o Mexico. He could buy all the T3, Xanax, Valium and ultram over the counter with no RX. The scam there was if you were caught using them you would be arredted in Mexice and werent allowed to bring them home with out a realDR EX.

Re: home searched due to mail orders

This is insane. In Australia I know of two instances where people have ordered over 100 ecstasy tablets from overseas, had them seized by customs, and all they ever got were love letters. Our customs may be worse but at least our police have their priorities (somewhat) in order.

Notice, in the above case, once again we see that signing
for a package triggered a search warrant............. gosh, this is almost a
pattern.

Apparently the person who was busted (TazBeBad)
didn't have a legit (written by an American doc) prescription for the
meds, nor did he obtain the meds within the US. Possessing
Schedule IV material without an Rx is against the law, and importing it
into the US (whether you have an Rx or not) is also against the
law. From his posts, I understand he was accused of violating
both of these.

If you have a prescription from a licensed doctor and fill it within
the US at a licensed pharmacy, I don't know what law you'd be
breaking. If the authorities frown on excessive prescribing,
don't they go after the doctors and not the patients?

Maybe there are some other grey areas: some states apparently
don't allow patients to consult with docs over the phone in other
states, and maybe some states have laws against
"doctor-shopping". Anyone know?

Sorry for the delay in posting, but here is an update:

InMay, I came up hot for a piss test due to taking a prescription diet pill. My PO sent me to bi-monthly group meetings, and one on one with a counsler. I quit going to AA meetings, cause of these others, and he has not mentioned it. These meetings are run by a treatment center, and everyone there is on probation, and has violated. I am also being tested 2 times a month, a piss test, into a cup with instant results. I am staying clean, and keeping on good terms with my PO. Several people in the group I attend really have problems with their PO's, but mine has treated me ok.

This is my 1st time for probation, so I will go over a few things for those that might like to know, but not want to experience.

Your Probation Officer can make it easy or hard, and they seem to act like they are Judge and Jury, kinda like most cops. I have a monthly report to submit by the 5th of each month, with employment information, payroll stubs, bank balances, large purchases, and milage on my vehicle. I am also asked to submit this info regardingmy wife. I have a district that I am allowed to freely travel, and I am susposed to ask at least 2 weeks in advance for permission to travel outside this area. They want the names of the people I will travel with, and the name and # of the place I will be staying while away.

MY PO is making visits, usually 2 times a month, to either my house, or my work. He shows up unannounced. From what I understand, he is free to look around, but he cannot dig, or search through my stuff, or my home. So far, this is how it has been.

I'll read some of the previous posts, and try to answer any questions from them, and any others.

Taz

Possession of VALIUM without a script

was that your first deal offered to you 1 yr. probation and 2k fine?

No concrete deal was set, but suggested. I was told I would probably not get a fine, and get 6 months probation. When I was sentenced, I was a little pissed at 1st, but I could have done time, a year in jail, and I still can ifI fuck up.

your P.O. he "SUGGESTED"you go to AA, as long as it wasntin the deal, and on the piece of paper u signed it's just a suggestion. Myquestion is why AA and not NA?

I want to get along with my P.O., so I said I would go, when he asked. I have been in the past. AA is a lot more available in my area. As I stated in the previous post, I have stopped going to the AA meetings, and he has not mentioned it. When I was going, I was having an attendance sheet filled out, so he knows I am not going there, but he knows I am going to these group treatment things.

you gonna order perscriptions online anymore?

I will probably always want to do things that are on the edge.

The second is simply not true, even the US customs service allows you a
months supply with a US prescription when traveling by land.

Words cannot convey how fucked up the american governments priorities lay. People rape, murder, stab, rob each other ... and the authorities spend their resources pursuing an investigation of a guy who had a MALIGNANT TUMOR!!!! and is importing valium and xanax to deal with his obvious serious problems???? Ok, i'm not saying that what you did wasok or that it was wrong for you to be charged Tazbebad, but I think its time this retarted government step back and reevaluate its priorities in law enforcement.

what they say about France is totally wrong. It's highly illegal to mail order medecine without prescription. Even with one, you're still breaking the law.

Well, the USA has turned into a police state, and it's getting worse with each new law passed.

One should not have these things delivered to ones home, use a box
somewhere. Get a different box in a different place every couple
of months or so.

One should not use their home computer to order these things, use a public terminal. A different one each time.

One should not use ones own name or ones own e-mail addy. Use a
different name, and get a free bogus e-mail addy from hotmail, yahoo,
or someplace else. And do not check this e-mail on your home
computer, check it in varying spots on public terminals.

One should not use one's own credit card to order. Get an
anonymous visa for cash with no ID check or paperwork to fill
out. Something like a Simon Mall Gift Card will do.

It's not going to be too long before using a forum like this one from
home is a bad idea too; checking in on different public terminals is
also probably a good idea now. And if not now, it will doubtlessly
become necessary at some point in the future.

The computer at work is not counted as a public terminal, either.
Using the computer at work is even stupider than using your home
computer.

Go to libraries, street kiosks, hotel lobbies, cafes, airports, etc.
And even then, case the area for cameras, both in the open and possible
spots for hidden ones, before using the public terminals.

Shit man, take precautions.

Yes, precautions will cost you some extra money, but not as much money as a fine or civil asset forfeiture.

Yes, precautions will cost you some extra time, but not as much time as a jail or prison sentance.

Unless you're a DEA-licensed importer, it IS illegal to get scheduled
materials shipped in, which is what the thread is about. The
month's-supply exemption only applies to individuals travelling by
land.

I don't even think it's 3 months anymore. they allow you specifically 50 pills of any given prescription. that's it. and yes, they'll search your car. but you can also walk across the boarder just as easily. if you wanted to, you could go with a small group. they will randomly pick 1 out of every 15 or 20 people to ask questions, etc. and that 1 person will show his 50 pills and prescription. it doesn't take a genius to realize that one person could keep walking back and forth and back and forth and etc. etc. etc. and only be required to show the contents of his backpack 1 in 20 times anyways...

The best thing to do is keep all your sensitive data PGP encrypted and have a complex passphrase. If you have to remove such data do a 26 pass wipe with PGP from another partition so you can wipe the swap file/internal streams (NTFS) also... I would like to see the company/agency that can reassemble what happens to be left after that.

Will this work for clearing information about websites visited? or what is good for that. Swim has a window cleaner but heard it does not really completly remove website info.

SWIM has used Drivecrypt PlusPack, which encrypts the entire hard drive, including the "C" boot drive. You can set it up to show a black screen at bootup showing the phrase "hard drive failure". If you type the correct password anyway, it boots normally. And it uses 256-bit encryption, enough to foil serious cracking attempts. The only bad thing about it is that it writes a custom boot sector, which prevents all disk backup utilities from working. If you want to restore your drive, you're out of luck. Your only option would be to reformat and start from zero...

It's sounds like the same BS I went thru several times. If you are wondering what is on your computer try downloading the same progam the DEA,USPS,FBI
used on my computers, NCASE it is a Foresenic program they use to build a case aganist you. It has the ability to view all files on your computer hidden or deleted.Lost what ever.. It was pretty interesting to view my 5 computers and numrouus hard drives after they returned them 2 years later. I would have to write a book to go into all the cases they tried to get me on.I all can say if you take a gamble with any of this Sh.t make sure you can afford the best Attorney money can buy and with a little good luck you will be able to still type on your own computer again.....Sasquatch64

For some reason I never checked this tread again after I made that post, but I just realized that I was subscribed to it. Yep, Mars gives excellent advice... encrypt your whole drive with PGP or another program that is known to be secure. All these washing/cleaning programs don't really work as advertised, but that's not really the companies fault... M$ likes to store things in places that are not easily accessible etc. NCASE is an adware/BHO/downloader trojan made by a company... it's not government related.
