Any non-prescription drug similiar to amphetamine?

Hi

I live in south florida, but i'm not US citizen or resident and can't go to a doctor here and ask to prescribe Dexedrine for me.
I have problems with concentrating and feel always kind of tired....
Is there any non-prescription drug in US for sale that has similiar effects , but is less effective.

You could try buying a Benzedrex inhaler, cracking it open and swallowing the cotton inside. That might be a bit more of a rush than SWIY is looking for if SWIY just wants to stay awake, though...

Ephedra is the closest thing SWIM has found to amphetamine. The HERB ITSELF IS NOT ILLEGAL... it is banned from use in "dietary supplements" and also "ephedrine hcl" is still available in the united states because it is considered an over the counter pharmaceutical, usually in combination with guiaifenesin. The reason why it was banned from dietary supplements is that there was no standardization of the Ma Huang (Ephedra Sinica) extracts used in weight loss, and focus pills.

Ephedra Sinica when a modest handful (about 7 grams) is put in a blender and boiled in a pot, it produces a nice stimulation from half of the mixture (7grams roughy could equate to 5-10mg of amphetamine), but if SWIY wanted start grinding teeth which SWIM has experienced from Ephedra alone from about 20-30 grams of boiled Ephedra Sinica Twigs. SWIM would relate this dose to about 15-30mg of dextroamphetamine hcl, but with a little less clarity and body load side effects. Hope this helps.

Focalin is gonna be prescription only. An idea could be to extract a few benzedrex inhalers and take a quarter an inhaler's worth or more every day, maybe ~75mg extracted crystals and the dosage could be bumped up slowly if desired. This is basically the closest thing to amphetamine available non-prescription, and if utilized as described above it wouldn't be too far removed from starting a prescription of adderall.

ephedrine HCl is a fair substitute. look for it in gas stations; drug stores tend to sell only ephedrine sulfate products, which are less effective for swiy's purpose.

also, synephrine seems to have some effect, at least for swim. the best source of synephrine swim has found comes in the form of 'bitter orange extract'. this should be readily available in a health foods/herb shop.

phentermine you can get from a doctor, but when mixed with anti-depressants it can cause psychosis. it's a dangerous combination. just beware of interactions before using anything.

"12 mg naturally occurring ephedrines (Ma Huang)" Is this the same thing as other epherdrine? swim found this in a dietary supplement and is just curious.

An interesting herb is Yohimbe it has a reputation as only an aphrodisiac, but all it really is is a stimulant. SWIM has found many quick trips selling energy pills with a mixture of caffeine and yohimbe and these do work though the jitters are worse than what you would get with amphetamine or ritalin. At least thats what Swim told me. Also swim once was a depressed guy and overdosed on many things, the only time an overdose came close to killing him in spite of getting to the hospital shortly after taking the pills (yes swim chickened out) anyway most overdoses he took would probably not have hurt him even if he hadn't gotten help. But when swim overdosed on ephedrine he got help within an hour of taking the pills and even then he still almost died while being cared for in ICU. Swim told me he would not recomend ephedrine to anyone because it has a very strong effect on the heart muscle and not anymore of a mental stimulant effect than caffeine. Swim also imagines that yohimbe may be just as dangerous as ephedrine, but according to him at least it is slightly stronger than caffeine
