Drug info - To those with a prescription: What do you do with your benzodiazepines?

Im curious to see what people do with their perscriptions. SWIM got a xanax perscription his from a shrink, to use for drug comedowns. But now SWIM uses it as intended, one (1mg) at night to sleep. Still, it's hard not to sell and/or trade them when people are willing to shell out ridiculous amounts of cash, and SWIM has occasionally given in. I've had several friends who sold their amphetamine/benzo perscriptions, and many more who got fucked up with friends with them. What do other people here with perscriptions do with their pills?

I take mine as prescribed by my Dr. for Generalized Anxiety Disorder/Social Anxiety on an as needed basis. Benzos work wonders for a good many things.

swim uses them the same as swik; for comedowns (roll/trip)

swim takes them "as prescribed" if he really needs them, but this is not often. swim liked his benzos a lot more when he could smoke the reefer, but this is not possible anymore due to pacman & no longer likes them for pure recreational value. so if swim has been hanging on to some for a while, he will sell some to a friend in need, or rather more often, swim can straight up trade them for some opies which swim likes a lot more recreationally.

SWIM keeps his, never sells them, only a few of his closest friends even know he has them, otherwise he would have a lot of people bugging him. SWIM uses them for insomnia and overwhelming anxiety that comes from time to time.

I use mine for the purpose they are prescribed for. I just started on dexedrine and know I won't be able to sleep well for the oncoming weeks, so I asked my doctor for a benzo script, after which he asked me what and how much, we settled on 20x10mg temazepam.

swim uses swim's RX for benzo's (valium 5mg T.I.D. , PRN) for GAD as prescribed by swim's MD and for insomnia (15 mg flurazapam QD), but on occasions has used them take the edge off of a bad trip.

swim forgot to mention swim has used swim's rx to also come down off of amphetamines.

I use mine for what it was prescribed for - Social Anxiety. 0.5mg clonazepam once a day. No room for any abuse, plus why raise tolerance. Can be eaten or taken sublingualy.

So how do those klonopin work sublingually? I'm about to start getting scribed klonopin and I hear so much conflicting info about it.... Many say it sucks, just as many say it is really nice. Guess I'll find out soon enough... hopefully.

From my experience, all types of clonazepam work when used sublingually. Eon/Sandoz, Roche Klonopin, Clonotril, and Rivotril. Not a bad taste. Hits quickly. Try it out yourself as we all have different results.

Of course not, SWIM'S shrink perscribed it for sleeping problems, which worsened and needed increasing doses. And jat, just to clarify as I'm still new here: aren't MOST of the things being discussed on this forum criminal offenses if people were talking about their own experiences instead of others?

Swim is stupid,when he gets benzos(his doctor will only give him small amounts because he knows swim has had problems with addiction)he sort of goes out on a bash.Will take far more than the doctor actually says and get a good benzo high for the next two days and then a weeks supply of benzos will be gone.
