mescaline hangover?

has anyone had a hangover the day after taking mescaline?

i took what was supposedly mescaline the other day, it was a small orange pill, that looked a lot like an ecstasy tablet

i had quite possibly one of the most perfect feelings from it, much better than mdma, but now i feel extremely out of it

im nervous, depressed, cant eat, and have trouble talkign to anyone

is this normal? and how long will it last?

I highly doubt what you had was mescaline, all sorts of pills get sold as mesc but it rarely is.

if its mesc it will last for atleast 6 hrs to 12 depending on the does and your own size

It definately wasnt mesc. I have never had a hangover, in fact, I have always felt better after than before even have done it. In fact, after my 12 hr trip, I was on my way to cali and drove 8 hours when I came down with no sleep.</font>

a friend of mine consumed mescaline in the form of peruvian torch cactus syrup and had a pretty solid hangover for most of the next day. Would equal a really really bad alcohol hangover, no nausea just a persistent bad headache. Probably from other chemicals found in the cactus.

if you remove the woody core before extracting that should help to avoid some of the extra chemicals,and the hangover. i've never experienced any hangover myself when using cactus,, maybe it was due to an alcohol or ether extraction which left too much solvent residue in the syrup which might have casuesedthe hangover your friend had

it might have been 2CB, its like mdma but make you trip as well.

After a mescaline trip (always from a san pedro soup or capsulated
skin; never tried pure mescaline) I get a fairly bad headache for about
2 to 3 hours during the last part of my comedown, but it's nothing a
few excedrin don't cure. I've also experienced this headache on
shrooms. Just curious to know if anyone else shares this reaction.

A small tablet could never contain an effective dose of mescaline since
the usual dose is hald a gram which would require a substancially sized
pill. I suspect that you got some street drug labeled as mescaline by an
unscrupulious salesman.

I had a slight hangover after my first full mescaline trip, from dried and powder cacti flesh. (not the outer skin or the core)


You also have to take into account your hydration before and during the trip...although mescaline isnt really a diuretic, it does have some stimulant-like effects and if you go 12 hours without any water you can bet you're going to wake up with a headache.


Also, I didnt plan on tripping for so long and ended up staying up until 6:30am after having little sleep the previous two evenings - I can safely assume that would make you feel a bit drained the next day as well.

SWIM has found no significant hangover from ingesting mescaline or cactus. However, after heavier doses of mescaline, a lethargic and drained feeling have occured the following day. This may be attributed to lack of sleep or a number of other factors, but the cactus probably had something to do with it.


Anyway, an active does of mescaline cannot phyiscally fit in "a small orange pill", so the pill in question was most certainly not mescaline.

What you had was not likely mescaline if the pill was on the small size.


As far as hangovers go, any powerful long lasting psychedellic can make a person feel somewhat tired or odd the next day. Some people are more vunerable to this effect than others.

Perhaps it was MDA? I know that the crash from that is intense. Although the trippy rollish deal when your under is definetly up there.
