Help Identifying Cactus?

hi all, this post is regarding the best method to dry and store cactus.....specifically san pedro

SWIM has a bunch of san pedro(about a couple 100 pounds) already removed.
SWIM is attempting to dry and store the cacti for later use
It is known that the indians of south america usually cut the cacti into star sections and set them out in the sun.
however SWIM is in an area where the sun does not shine regularly
SWIM has begun to cut the cacti up into 1cm cubes and thin strips. the strips and cubes are placed on a wire rack(for better air circulation) and placed in a 170(F) oven, with the door slightly open to allow air circulation.
this is however a very long process that SWIM doesnt have time for.(small oven/ not enough racks/etc.)
SWIM has left some of the cubes laying out for a a couple days to air dry and this resulted in the formation of mold/fungus. and SWIM doesnt want this to happen to the rest of the cacti.
....so is there a faster way to dry out this much cacti? an option that has been thought of is to puree the cacti and lay it out on a baking dish but if there is info on this technique out there it would be better to know beforehand?

also can the dried cacti be stored in tupperware at room temp? if so how long?
