swim took 10 mg of adderall this morning, and could not get an erection and had NO libido at all. do you guys think this ccould be from lower testosterone levels?

no this is a common reaction of speed users. meth/amph cause men to be horney but not be able to get it up,this has been covered in by many people in MANY other threads,please remember to use the search engine in the futer.

on another note did anyone know that high testosterone levels have been known to decrease the effects of amphetamine on rats?

That's interesting. I read somewhere (maybe here) that males are much more sensitive to amphetamines than women.

indeed, seems to oppose^^. [ie:men-Hi testosterone, yet more sensitivity] Although, fNord said it had to do with rats.

On topic though, Swim has never had sexual intercource while on Amp, or Meth-Amp, although his buddy's say it works BETTER while ON Amp's, but... Most people will tell you, it just takes longer, but in your case it's really holding you back..

1. The effect of amphetamine on the secretion of testosterone and the production of testicular adenosine 3':5'-cyclic monophosphate (cyclic AMP) in rats was studied. 2. A single intravenous injection of amphetamine decreased the basal and human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG)-stimulated levels of plasma testosterone. Plasma LH levels were not altered by the injection of amphetamine. 3. Administration of amphetamine in vitro resulted in a dose-dependent inhibition of both basal and hCG-stimulated release of testosterone. 4. Amphetamine enhanced the basal and hCG-increased levels of cyclic AMP accumulation in vitro in rat testes. 5. These results suggest that amphetamine inhibits the spontaneous and hCG-stimulated secretion of testosterone from the testes through a mechanism involving an increase in cyclic AMP production.

^Interesting post SWIF! It would seem that amphetamine may decrease testosterone. Maybe that's why (from anecdotal evidence) so may speed freaks get sexually weird!

In small doses speed can help men get an erection, but after a while it has the opposite effect. Fires the imagination, however!

yes, and maybe this leads to more mature ejaculation time,
thus making it hard to get up, as opposed to so so-mature ejaculation time.
