Combinations - Mescaline morphate*

*No, this drug doesn't exist, it is a hypothetical situation.

My hypothesis is a drug with the insights of mescaline, with the sedative effects of morphine would allow someone who is prepaired an immensely beneficial trip.

Training and ritual would be essential before it, swim postulates that Ayahausca/La purga would be taken in the days leading up to it, followed by a fast, then the drug on the following morning. The symbolic cleansing of such a ritual, and the psychomechanic effect would mean the only way to accept the altered state of consciousness would be via the ritual.

Swim's question is, could mescaline be bonded to morphine, or combined?

hmm...that would be very cool. I think there is another forum about "the perfect hypothetical drugs" or something similar though.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe morphine and mescaline both form salts (mescaline HCl, morphine HCl); but they are both the positive ions and you cant just stick them together and voila (you could probably make a mixture, but there would be no bonding involved). But maybe if you could get a counterion w/ a -2 charge that would bind to one molecule of mescaline and one molecule of morphine you could have the salt of the three. I think maybe formate binds 2:1, so maybe you could have mescaline-morphine formate? With the same idea maybe one could do so with any other ion that had a -2 charge.

I also know that both of these are formed as a sulfate (morphine sulfate, mescaline sulfate). And sulfate has a -2 charge as well, but my sense is this just means these would bind 2:1; though I should really find out, if someone who knows better could inform me, that would be appreciated.

They definitely cannot just be stuck together like that...and if they could be, they definitely wouldn't have the effects of either mescaline or morphine.

However, nothing's to stop SWIY from simply consuming mescaline and morphine together.

But mescaline morphate sounds as if it could be for science. Swim doesn't like morphine as when he left hospital he had cravings for it, but some sedative such as that would make someone more apreciative of the trip.
