Published articles on research chemicals
Hello there, can anyone post me the citations to published journal articles that deal with the psychedelic effects of reserach chemicals? I have access to journal databases so all i need is the citation, it's just that i can't seem to find any scietific research on these chems with the exception of DOI and the related amphetamine psychedelics which do appear to have a little reserach done about them. So if you know of any such studies please let me know the Journal, article title and author and i would be most grateful. As i mentioned elsewhere on this forum i am working on a book dealing with psychedelics and while doing my literature review i have gotten to the part where i'm trying to find some published studies on research chems and they don't seem to exists. I know these chems are for the most part unstudied, but there must be something out there on some of Shulgin's creations other than DOI. Thanks.

Re: Published articles on reserach chemicals
have you meandered through the archives? There might be some studies there that you can use as a place to start, following citations and such.

Re: Published articles on reserach chemicals
If you find articles on RCs that aren't archived at D-F, the community would greatly appreciate it if you would post them here. Most of us don't have easy access to scholarly articles.
Erowid.org should have a bit of an archive of research (see here for an example for 2C-B), and, well, I don't want to be patronizing and I hate to point out such a basic research method to somebody who's obviously a reasonably advanced researcher, but... a Google search should turn up quite a bit for you. I did one for the words "2C-B" and "journal", and this popped up as one of the first results: Quote:

Re: Published articles on research chemicals
Thanks, i'll gladly post articles i find on here. Most of them are on DOI so far since it's legal it's been used a lot to determine what receptors are acted upon by hallucinogens, a few of the other amphetamine phenethylamines also have been studied, 2c-b has a few as does 5-meo-dmt, MDMA and related compounds have the most studies as these have qualities that pharmaceuticals giants would love to get their hands on, but past that generally there are very few if any i've found so far, haven't got that far yet but im sure things like miprocin have no articles for them, but i'm digging deeper.
scholar.google.com isn't a bad place to look either if you'er into this sort of thing too, but some of it's results don't let you view the full text articles, thats where my university database account comes in Oh yeah, maps.org also has a psychedelic bibliography with full text FYI.

Re: Published articles on research chemicals
scholar.google.com is handy, especially as it shows you which articles haved cited which other ones.
I often do searches with that and then go back to my journal access database system to find the article. |
