Not all of the people posting in that thread were complete idiots. A few of the comments were reasonable. Still, its those certain comments that make you shudder that we try to not have here in DF.

If LSD were legal, one of the main riders attached to the legalization legislation would no doubt be mandatory education before consumption*. Ergo, you'd have a lot fewer of these kind of morons talking through their asses about it. And then, you wouldn't have to worry about "thick cardboard blotters" being passed off as LSD, because everyone purchasing one from the Drugs Store would know off the bat that it was DOM (or whatever).

Funny how the justifications for keeping something illegal are in essence a Catch-22 result of the chemical's prohibition in the first place.
