Research Chemical similar to MDMA?
Hi, I'm just wondering if there are any RC's out there that give similar effects to those of MDMA? Thank you for any helpful responses.
Also, as silly as it may sound, as long as Ive been on here, I havent been able to understand what SWIM/SWIY mean. ??? Thanks again! |

Re: RC similar to MDMA?
For methylone, simply type 'methylone' or 'm1'. It shouldn't be hard to find. Maybe swiy typed it in wrong??
As to radiometer, I think he is implying that swiy won't find a substance that gives you the same MDMA type effects. you can get RCs that share certain elements, such as maybe in euphoria or enjoyment of music, but nothing will match up to E exactly, especially with the empathy aspect, so you might as well either look for a new experience to have or just go back to MDMA, don't try to bridge the two together as it won't work. |

Re: RC similar to MDMA?
regarding tryptamines AMT in low doses is quite stimulant and emphatic, resembling MDMA in some aspects

Re: RC similar to MDMA?
a-ET has a few aspects that resemble MDMA. And both are Schedule I. a-ET is not worth persuing - according to the many who had opportunity to buy it legally back yonder for pennies a dose.
a-MT has few things alike with MDMA. They both keep you awake...but that's about it. Though some claim the euphoria can be similar (others deny this). MMDA is quite similar - but extremely rare. MDE is also quite similar. Methylone has already been dissected at length in these forums. |

Methylone would indeed also come close, though it's more of a MDMA light version. |

Re: RC similar to MDMA?
Not a research chemical (actually extensively studied): SWIM has found that the empathogenic, stimulating, slightly mindbending effects of low-to-moderate-dose dextromethorphan to have many things in common with the effect of MDMA.
Obviously -- YMMV |

Re: RC similar to MDMA?
Unpredictable would be the operative word in recorded experiences. Especially with a-MT. With a-ET, certain aspects are more likely to be similar most times. But toxic effects also come into play and people feel more burned-out.
Neither of these drugs can reliably be used as replacements for MDMA - according to those who tried (and tried! LOL). The powerful MAOI effects of a-ET would lead to serious trouble if someone were to release a flood of a-ET into the marketplace (as some utter boob did). And the psychedelic aspects of a-MT would likely lead to some serious psychological problems if it were approached as an alternative to MDMA. As well as it's MAOI effects. |

Re: Research Chemical similar to MDMA?
Not sure about mouse eggs, but Shulgin didn't make it and MADAM-6 was not much good. Shulgin and Nichols made a lot of MDMA analogues, trying to produce a viable, legal alternative, but didn't come up with anything of great interest.

Re: Research Chemical similar to MDMA?
Pink...... care to draw some similarities between FLEA and MDMA. SWIM heard that stuff is amazing and remembers pink saying it was slightly better. SWIM cannot imagine a drug getting too much better than a good ole roll.
