In a particularly dumb moment several months ago SWIM gave 100mg of 2ci in solution to a friend who he thought would be wise with it. Not so: said friend gave 30mg to another, more distant, acquaintance ("Lou") of SWIM who had never touched drugs besides alcohol, and smoking marijuana all of once -- moreso, Lou had serious tendencies towards depression and some definite psychological baggage to be worked out that was obvious to all of Lou's friends, and moreso, Lou took the drugs on a whim, all of 5 minutes after being told about them ("pretty patterns") and getting excited ...

He downed the solution like a shot.

What ensued was psychosis, interior images of rape, lynching (Lou is black), and necrophilia. He thought he was in hell ...

SWIM hears Lou is doing better now after a few months, but then again, SWIM hasn't heard from Lou in some time ...

Speaking of bad trips on 2C-E what is a goo dose and what are the effrcts at a low 10-15mg dose??

SWIM's first dose was in the area of 35-40mg, which he does not recommend for a first timer, EVER. Total visual hallucinations were experienced, but there was no sense of ego-death. In fact, SWIM's thought patterns were relatively unchanged, but the severe time distortion really messed with his mind. He remembers riding in a car and pulling up to a stop light, but the closer the car got to the light, the further it seemed to be stretching away. He remembers thinking that it would take years to get there. Another thing SWIM remembers is that music sounded distorted. Lyrics sounded jumbled and nonsensical, almost exactly like the adults' voices in Charlie Brown.

He would recommend 15mg for a full-out psychedelic experience that will not be too intense. Burn a little of your favorite sticky-icky to help with anxiety. It seems to help better with 2C-E than with LSD or Mushrooms in that respect.

Bad trips are certainly possible with 2ci as SWIM knows from personal experience. SWIM also learned that while extremely mindblowing, Nitrous Oxide in high doses while combined with 2ci can lead to fun things like confusion induced ego-death. SWIM's tip: go easy on the hippie crack (if used at all). Be safe.
