Could it be possible? (DXM and methadone withdrawal)

SWIM has been using methadone pretty much for two weeks straight, well he hasn't had any in the last three days and has been robotripping.SWIM has only experienced very mild methadone withdrawal symptoms, nothing like the sheer misery he felt in March when he quit opiates.Could this be normal?Could dxm truly be a wonder drug for opiate addicts trying to stop?
