Highest Concerta dosage before OD

Swim tried Concerta for the first time today. A kid swim knows who has ADHD owed him money, couldn't come up with it, and offered him some pills. He gave swim five 36mg Concertas. After some quick Googling swim was disappointed to learn Concertas are apparently "unblowable." Swim was kinda bummed and decided to swallow them rather than waste them. The five were taken at about 8am all at once. Within 30-45 minutes swim felt em kicking in. For the rest of the day, until about 3pm, swim was feeling really high. However, the come down was hard and swim was forced to ease it with two 5mg Watsons (oxy).

Overall swim thought it was pretty fun, about half as good as coke but lasting like 6 hours. Swim's question is how many pills is it safe to do without having to worry about the lining of swim's stomach?

SWIY's stomach should be fine. Just don't let SWIY pop over 200-270mg, for someone inexperienced in the field of stimulants it may be less than fun, I would worry about that rather than the condition of SWIY's stomach.

Not to say that five wasn't intense, but if swim was looking for something more intense, say 10 pills, there would be no adverse effects? As for experience with stimulants, swim wonders whether coke counts or swiy is referring to amphets in particular?

SWIY would probably want to get used to the way that amphets and MPH act on the body before downing 360 mg MPH. I mean, there will be plenty of euphoria, maybe sweating and nervousness, and the comedown will be awful. Tell SWIY to keep a few benzos around for the comedown. Oxy should be fine too. Another recommendation is for SWIY to 'parachute' the concerta, as it will make for a stronger, although not necessarily as long lasting kick, that SWIY can pop several times a day, if he pleases. The process follows as thus:

1. Keep concerta pill in mouth as the outer coating contains a good amount of MPH, or in SWIY's case, hold four or five. The coating should dissolve in maybe around nine minutes for five pills.
2. There should be three colored sections of the pill, another thread explains the way this works. Chop off the green part with a knife, and toss it.
3. Proceed to chop up the remaining white and orange parts of each pill.
4. Place the desired amount wanted into a piece of toilet paper, forming a paper capsule. Swallow with water, shouldn't be too hard.

When SWIM had a concerta script, he carried a few 100-200 mg parachutes with him fairly often. A nice little backup to have.

SWIM has done about 8 x 36mg Concerta's before chewin about half of them, he was paranoid all night and totally wiped the next day. not fun. 10 would be the suggestible maximum dose when only swallowed as that would be 30mg an hour for 12 hours. which is a really high amount to sustain for that long. especially when you consider each 30 mg last approx 4 hours, having a cumulative effect. chewing this many is just plain foolish to do so that is not an option, could be the trigger for cardiovascular problems with either methods above with the last the worst idea. chewing them is the equivalent of taking 18x20mg IR tablets at once which is one big assed dose, prob enough to mess up say an small elephant (guess). be very careful what SWIY is doing here, this is potentially very dangerous unless you are 100% sure you know what you are doing.

I've popped over 3000mg of Concerta at the same time and i felt good as hell but the aftereffects were not to good

Personally, from what I've seen happen to people, my final answer has to be 0mg. Concerta is not a recreational drug and should not be used as such, my friend says that, the high is about a quarter in length compared to the comedown, which is about 3x stronger than the high. Judging from this, I really don't recommend doing Concerta/Ritalin/Methylphenidate.

Haha i have ADHD and get prescribed Concerta 36, you have to cut the pills in half and take only the white part, i took 30 of them and ripped some wicked solo's on guitar

I actually have a extreme tolerance to concerta because I have ADHD and I have been taking it since around 10 years ago every day. xD And my dose prescribed to me is 56mg and I heard people takng about 20 mg becoming euphoric xD. All it does is calm me way down to the point where I feel I have no energy. xD

i have i question that's really bugging me , i see ppl here talking about 56 or 2-3 56mg concerta with awe , and i was wondering a dude who is shooting 500mg of meth and the euphoria lasts like 10min, what's the dosage of methylphenidate that he would need to at least feel even the slightliest buzz ? he's getting his first prescription tomorrow of concerta xr 56mg , cause in he's country you get it for free , and he thought ... hey why not ? besides he had some cash problems lately ... this dude that i'm talking about ... well his friends call him a monster , inhuman , stuff like that , he played sports for like 8-9 years , he was a national champion and in his spare time he rode a bike (like 50-100km in a day for fun) so he has quite a strong circulatory system. so , will concerta do any good ?

What I don't get is WHY people snort anything. 1) Keeping a substance (concerta not so much, but like Xanax, IR Ritalin or Adderal, anything IR basically) under the tounge for a couple minutes, disregarding the taste, is JUST as good as snorting. No, let me rephrase that because it's not just JUST as good, it's BETTER. I myself don't do any drugs, but my close friend I've know since I was born, SWIM does, and he follows this rigidly.
2) Everything you snort has what we call 'binders,' in them. These binders are basically glue to keep the substance together in a tablet. When snorted, it goes into your lungs. Once it is there, it stays there. Snorting reguarly can lead the the same diseases (for the lungs) as smoking a pack or more a day because that glue STAYS there much longer than the tar of tobacco.

Don't snort, people. SWIUs and SWIM all know that drugs are fun, but everything in moderation, and everything in the healthiest manner possible. DON'T SNORT SHIT.

And if SWIYOU don't believe me, then look it up on Google.

No they don't - anything you snort drips down the back of your throat and is swallowed.

Actually, people snort some substances because it reaches the bloodstream quicker by attaching to the nose's mucus membranes which are extremely absorbent of water-soluable substances.
Also, some pills simply weren't made to be taken sublingually. SWIyou mention xanax, xanax(alprazolam) is often made specifically for this route of administration for near instant relief of panic attacks. Instant relief is not needed for most other drugs.
Snorting has a negative stigma associated with it- maybe with good reason. But as a harm reduction forum, referring users to google may not be the best idea.
