Safety of ordering GBL

SWIM was just wondering if SWIY has imported this amazing car alumin cleaning product, and to where. Luckily, SWIM has found online suppliers of it, which look legit. Unfortunately, the country in which SWIM resides keeps a close watch on GBL and proper papers and explanations and such are required should one wish to obtain it.

The reason SWIM is wondering if anyone else has ordered is he wonders how discreetly it has been shipped to them, ie, what the package sender declares the package contains. SWIM has once had an order of legal highs labelled as incense, lol.

The laws varies very much from country to country. The way I see it is if the GBL is not ordered using your credit-card, but is ordered to your name and address the governement can't prove that it was you who ordered it, and you are innocent until proven guilty. E.g. if you would send GBL to a politician, it wont meen he'll be convicted for importing..

But I don't know how the laws are in the country which you are in. If you live in the US I suspect that you can get convicted without actual proof

Yes, yes and yes... due to some highly paranoid views of GHB/GBL (e.g. being a 'date rape' drug used to control others) SWIM doesn't think it would just be confiscated by customs as a controlled substance, like an order of Alprazolam from a Mexican pharmacy. He suspects it would be confiscated, and customs would then go ahead and prosecute the person attempting to import it.

In other words (if the importer didn't get lucky and have it overlooked) it would probably not be treated like Xanax, it would be treated like heroin. If prosecuted, the judge would not view it like attempting to import pharmaceuticals, but similarly to attempted order of a street drug over the Net. And so on.

It appears the OP is in Canada - with laws quite similar to the USA. If you order GBL, put your toothbrush in your pocket. You'll be wanting it in jail.

Well, some guy I met on the street told me that he ordered 2 250ml bottles of GBL from an easy to find online retailer selling cleaning solvents, on seperate occasions, and that they arrived in a timely fashion to his door in Canada. However, I'm not sure about the laws here in Canada, so he may have just been lucky....

Here's the deal for Canada. GBL and 1,4 bdo are both schedule VI (6) in Canada that means they're treated as precursors. As far as exportation and possesion for the purpose of making GHB, swiy will have a maximum 1 year imprisonment for a summary conviction and for an indictable offence swiy will be charged with a maximum 3 years imprisonment. Swim is pretty sure swiy would be charged with a summary conviction if swiy had a personal use amount and a indictable offence if swiy had a big load of the stuff (correct swim if he is wrong). So if swiy enjoys GHB or related drugs, north america is not the place to be.

Most GBL vendors don't label the bottle 'gbl'. They always label it as some sort of cleaner without listing its contents or ingredients, and generally the sites that sell it spin it as some other product in their interface. I think that provides enough plausible deniability such that you wouldn't likely be charged simply for ordering a few hundred ml's. I mean, GBL IS actually a very effective electronics/alloy cleaner. But that's all just my opinion.

As others have said, GHB can vary hugely from person to person. SWIM once got a small bottle of it with advice to put 1-2 drops in a drink. SWIM did that and felt nothing, so SWIM had a few more drops and then a few more. Eventually SWIM had drunk the whole bottle and only felt a bit tired and horny.

SWIM's friend, on the other hand, drank a tiny, tiny sip from SWIM's drink and was out of it completely, walking into walls and being sick.

SWIM and SWIM's friend are the same build and had eaten the same for lunch and dinner. So it really does vary from person to person.

they did not ask swim to pick it up ,, swim tracked his order online and it said it was at the post office, so swims friend went and got it for him, ,, swim has made about 750 ml's of gbl in ghb alreeady and is ripped right now.
